Not settling for someone is the same as not allowing someone to settle for you. We tend to say don’t settle for a woman or man, but someone settling for you is like him or her saying to you indirectly “You are normally not my type when it comes to your looks, size, intellect, financial status, street cred, color, etc., but since you are a good man or woman and I don’t have to worry about you f*cking me over, you will do”.

Now, you will never hear this directly from his or her mouth but their friends will. By saying this, it is highly important for us to know what type of man or woman a potential mate usually dates and if we don’t fit anywhere near his or her preferences, we really need know why he or she, all of a sudden, adjusted his or her preferences for us because there’s always a POSSIBILITY that someone settled for us.

For some, you don’t have to agree or you can be in denial, but all I’m trying to do is give you something else to think about because I’m all about promoting healthy relationships. Love and respect!

Here is the situation – Last year a Louisiana woman by the name of Kiyante Myers accused Powell of rape, and filed a lawsuit against the actor.

Myers claims she at first consented to sex with the actor, but when it got too rough for her, she requested for him to stop, he refused. ..When she continued to ask him to stop, he put his hand over her face to shut her up, and continued the sexual assault. (He went too far by putting his hand over her face).

After the incident was over, Myers went to the cops the next day to file a report, accusing Powell of rape… The cops then started an investigation. Without enough evidence to convict Powell of rape, the case was later closed..

Since Myers was unable to get help from the cops, she took her case to Federal court in Louisiana, seeking damages in the sum of $75,000…

Clifton Powell reps released this statement — “Mr. Powell absolutely denies these false accusations and plans on pursuing all legal remedies available to him against his accuser.”

The question I have is, If a person FIRST consent to sex, then decides to end the act because she’s not happy with the situation, is the still considered rape ??

If a woman says no, I feel that the person has crossed the line in the situation.

Now According to Forbes Dre earned $110 Million dollars last year. $100 Million came from HTC paying $300 Million to buy a 51% stake into his “Beatz” headphone company. Dre being the great business man that he is then turned around and bought half of the stock back this summer.

After realizing that his country, mainly the NBA has turned it’s back on him regardless of the fact that he can still play ball, is still a highly recognized name and his re-joining the league would increase ticket sales A.I. has finally come to the conclusion that he might have to relocate overseas for good.

He said in a recent interview with the Chinese Media: 

I definitely want to return to the NBA, but if I can’t get back there, I’m hoping to play ball here (China).”

With regards to his team of choice, Iverson chose to reply obliquely, saying:

“I’m not leaning towards any one team, and there’s no ‘first choice’ like what the others say.” However, Iverson points to the CBA as one of his backup options. “China is still one of my choices, but the team that wants me to join has got to show me that they really mean it, like ‘hey we really need you’.” (ha, ha. I’m so trying not to laugh, A.I. needs China a lot more than they need him.)

This is not the first time Iverson has played in the overseas circuit. Two years ago he briefly played in Turkey before bailing out early due to an injury. He was rumored to possibly play in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. But even rumors of him playing for the NBA D-League  where Lamar Odom briefly did a stint failed to come true. It’s just not working out for A.I. anywhere in the U.S. 

China may be Iverson’s best option.  Other ex NBA players like Stephon Marbury seems to have found a place there as a basketball star, which means there’s absolutely no reason Iverson can’t do the same. The only thing is there is no place like home. 

Iverson doesn’t want to his career to be over. Although he is 37 years old and may not play as good as he once did when he was younger, but the NBA is where his heart is at. 

“I’m not using that word [retirement]. I want to play basketball so bad. 

“I mean, the way it is right now, I’ve accepted the fact that [playing in the NBA] might not happen,” he said. “But I still want to play basketball. If I can get an opportunity to where it’s going to make me happy at the end of my career, I’ll take that opportunity. But I just love to play and I want to have another opportunity to play on the professional level.”  Iverson said back in May.

I’m a sucker for A.I. Perhaps if he played football someone would feel sorry for him and give him a league minimum contract for $1 Million..  With a great many struggling teams in the NBA who are not winning and fail to even come in contention for playoff spots and need seats filled you would think one of those teams would pick up A.I. just because.

It’s pretty obvious the man who once always had THE ANSWER has been blackballed for good. #GameOver

Mr. Wynn told jurors that he wouldn’t risk his $6.7 billion casino empire just to threaten the porn producer’s life over a $2million gambling debt.

The Las Vegas tycoon is suing Francis for slander over claims that Wynn threatened to hit the 39-year-old over the head with a shovel and have him buried in the desert. 

Francis claims his neighbor, record executive Quincy Jones, told him Wynn made the threats in conversation and by e-mail.

‘I’ve never sent an email in my life,’ the 70-year-old designer of signature casinos such as The Mirage, Bellagio, Wynn and Encore, told jurors. 

The trial on Tuesday in Los Angeles is the latest legal fight in ongoing battles between the two men that includes a $2million gambling debt that Francis racked up in one of Wynn Resorts Limit’s casinos.
