Cassie dropped some new music yesterday.. When I first heard about the song I declined to listen. But Cassie is so freaking gorgeous (You know I have this thing for pretty things)  so eventually I couldn’t help myself..  As the music came out of the speakers I must admit to being surprised that it was actually delightful.

“Balcony” features the vocals of rapper Young Jeezy, which would also be surprising if you happened to forget Diddy was the one who signed him. Jeezy makes the song a smooth joint, combining with Cassie’s vocals perfectly. 

The love song is an ode to New York City… NYC reps their city so hard…

In the song, Cassie sings:

“Honestly, I was scared ‘cuz I know you were prepared, and you knew what I was thinking, all my thoughts, all my cares.”

Jeezy raps:

“I said she sassy, she classy, haircut like she Cassie, why your voice so raspy, ooh I hope she nasty.”

The word “Nasty” and Cassie in the same sentence….. Humnnn.

“Balcony” is off Cassie’s upcoming Rock-A-Bye Baby mixtape dropping this fall.

Sidenote: Yesterday was a riot on Twitter.. Cassie’s “army” hit me up upset because I tweeted that Diddy would never marry Cassie and that all of the engagement rumors are a joke..  Gotta love those stans.
