MELBOURNE, FLORIDA  -  A 47-year-old woman, Stacey Kerres, was jailed Thursday after she was found laying topless in a motel parking lot – while the child she was hired to babysit was left alone.

Police officers were dispatched to the River Palm hotel after hotel staff found a five-year-old boy who had been left unattended. He didn’t know where his mommy was but he did say this crazy lady was watching him but she left and didn’t come back.

Officers arrived to find the  boy playing video games with the hotel staff. The boy told officers that he had been left with a babysitter while his mother was off at the local casino tricking her money off. (Not in those exact words) 

During a search of the hotel grounds, officers found Kerres laying topless in the parking lot of the hotel – right next to her lay an empty can of Budweiser beer.. Stacey had passed out after drinking one too many beers in the blazing summer heat.

Police woke the alcoholic up and she appeared to be  lethargic and incoherent, struggled to talk and was unable to tell officers where she had left the little boy.   She didn’t even know where her top was at or how it came off, let alone the where-a-bouts of another human being.

Your guess is as good as mines she told the officer.

Kerres was booked into the Brevard County Jail and charged with child neglect. No charges have been filed against the mother for leaving her kid with such an irresponsible adult while she gambled and drank beer at the casino…

These people are a hot mess today…. SMH
