The last time I posted about Chrsitina Aguilera she had something red running down her leg at Etta James‘ funeral. This time the pint size singer caught my attention when I looked at her promo pic for the “Voice” show. Aguilera is a badd bish according to the photo.
Compare Chris’ promo pic with her real pic and there is a major difference. Christina’s promo pic looks like she should be the spokesmodel for partybingo.com. Those red lips, sultry blonde hair and that striped dress will definitely have men wanting to play.

Whoever altered Christina Aguilera’s “VOICE” promo pic used every handy manipulation tool in the software program and then dropped an instagram filer on it too. The photo is, to paraphrase many an Internet commenter, a bit too perfect. But that is what airbrushing does. Anyone can look good with the help of photoshop.
But it’s not like Aguilera is the first celebrity to undergo a little digital alteration. They all do it. Some are obviously over doing it.
Beyonce’s Covergirl ad where she was lightened caused a ton of backlash.
The thing is, though, people may complain and say that altered photos give women and teens body issues. They also don’t really want to see celebrities looking normal. Consumers generally buy magazines for the beautiful images inside. And when it comes to products, a flawless face sells very well.
“The Voice” returns Monday, 9/10 at 8 PM on NBC.
