VH1 has decided to pull the plug on football player Chad no longer Ochocinco Johnson and “Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada’s reality show, before it even hits the air.
As you’re probably well aware, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson was arrested on Saturday night after a fight with wife Evelyn Lozada which resulted in a laceration to Lozada’s forehead. Shortly after Ocho bonded out the NFL Miami Dolphins cut him.
The couple was married on July 4 and their wedding plans were being documented for the upcoming series, Ev and Ocho, but in light of these recent events, VH1 has decided to cancel the series.
The decision was made in light of Johnson’s arrest over the weekend on charges of domestic violence against his new wife.
“Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it,” VH1 said in a statement.
They both just lost a lot of money…
Supposedly a picture of Evelyn’s inuries. Doesn’t look like her to me though..
This does not seem like the smartest business decision. As a network that capitalizes off of phuckery. Surely with the recent incident and the media coverage the show was set to be a hit. Even if viewers only turned in for a laugh. While some may jump to the conclusion that VH1 was lead to this decision because Evelyn tried to pull a Kim Kardashian with a fake marriage scam that is not true. (Although she will beat Kim out with the shortest marriage)
Chad and Evelyn got into a fight over receipts for condoms being found which means they were actually in a relationship with committment expected..
So VH1′s decision to pull the show from its fall line-up is truly shocking to me.. I wonder what exactly made them reach the conclusion to do so. Perhaps they are attempting to have some morals… Yeah. that’s a laugh to me too.

I guess domestic violence is the stopping point for VH1. They dont mind women cussing each other out, or whoopin each other’s asses..but once a man steps in and allegedly does it wit a female…they call it quits
