FT. LAUDERDALE – Miami Dolphins receiver Chad Johnson was issued bond and set to be released from Broward County jail early Sunday morning.
Just after 8:30 a.m. Johnson appeared live via video feed in front a judge and was issued a $2,500 bond and a no contact order, instructing him to stay away from his new wife, Evelyn Lozada
DAVIE, FLORIDA - Barely off of their honeymoon 1 month ago, Shocking news just broke that Chad no longer Ochocinco Johnson was arrested for domestic violence against Evelyn Lozada. Ocho went HAM upside Evelyn’s head.
Apparently pretending to be a happy couple was just a front and a good look for the tv.
According to the Sun Sentinel Miami Dolphins receiver Chad Johnson has been arrested on domestic violence charges in Davie, Florida.
Johnson allegedly head-butted his wife Evelyn Lozada during an argument in a vehicle. According to NFL.com, the fight started when Johnson found a receipt for condoms in the car. The site says Johnson told police he butted heads with Lozada by accident.
Lozada reportedly had lacerations on her forehead when police arrived on the scene. According to TMZ Ev has been at the hospital for hours and has to get stiches.
Johnson has been in the news a lot recently. The veteran receiver recently changed his name back from Ochocinco to Johnson, signed with the Dolphins after being released by the New England Patriots and immediately became the star in the debut of this season’s Hard Knocks series on HBO.
Lozada just married Ochocinco on the 4th of July. On the show Basketball Wives Evelyn constantly went in on Gloria Govan because her baby daddy Matt was whooping her azz.
The Palm Beach Report published that Basketball Wives star did in fact find a receipt for condoms in the car as the couple drove home from dinner. Evelyn says Chad head butted her on purpose but Chad told the police it was an accident.
According to Engle, Johnson and his wife, Evelyn Lozada, were driving to their home in Davie after dinner Saturday night when Lozada found a receipt for a box of condoms in the car, sparking an argument that got “heated.”
When they arrived at their home, the argument “escalated quite a bit,” Engle said, and Johnson and Lozada butted heads, giving Lozada a laceration on her forehead. Lozada told police that Johnson purposely head-butted her, while Johnson told police it was accidental.
NBC reports that Johnson may be dropped from his $925,000 football contract due to this incident.
Didn’t Ev do an interview saying she didn’t mind Ocho having other women??? I most certainly hope that Evelyn walks away. She doesn’t need Chad or his couple of quarters, because she now has her own. SMH . If nothing else she’s a bit too pretty to be getting her azz whooped.. Chad’s contract ain’t that fat!. What’s even worse is that you know this isn’t the first time something like this happened between them. It’s just the first time it hit the news.
It seems that a lot of Basketball Wives don’t mind marrying an IKE. Nor do they mind eating the cake.. Chad should hope that rings true in this case. Otherwise if there was a prenup I’m sure domestic violence voids it.

Im sure women don't really marry violent athletes. I'm sure some of them marry for the status, money, hype etc as well as attraction and i'd like to believe love plays a part. There seems to be a materialistic mentality with young women and americans, but i dunno its just my opinion from what i read/see and hear

First of all, most men that abuse women show signs early in the relationship. Any woman that has been in an abusive relationship knows that. He has a clean record, it's just a shame. He never should have married that trouble maker. And if you have watched BB wives. She is no angel, and loves to push peoples buttons, until they can no longer take it.
