Is the world  ready for a Country Star, turned Edgier Hip Hop, Pop artist? Well Pharrell is working to make it  happen ….

Ex-Disney star, country starlet, “Hannah Montana” Character, Ms. Miley Cyrus has been trying to distance herself from the childish type character that made her an instant star to the young pre-teen girls.

For the last two years an older Miley has been trying to gain a more mature, Rihanna and Lady Gaga type edge, by doing sexier, popish type videos, far from the country Disney  stuff, which made her a house hold name…

The new Miley isn’t doing too well, and top hip hop producer,Genius Pharrell has taken notice, and reached out to Miley, to give her the edge she’s looking for .

Pharrell Williams reached out to Miley Cyrus and offered to produce her new album after noticing the media struggle that has impacted and derail her career in the last two years. Miley was more than thrilled and accepted Williams offer, with open arms.

In a recent interview with Marie Claire magazine, Cyrus explains how she felt so inspired by Williams’ approach and style to music, which has made her a better artist and more open in her new music…

She stated

“Pharrell said (after hearing about the scandal): ‘don’t be offended because this is how I talk, but (I thought), ‘That [bleep] is actually living. She’s not sitting there with her Momager’s chain on her door. I want to free that [bleep]. I want her out of her cage.’

 “I’d never worked like that before. I was talking to him like he was an older brother, and everything I said was going onto the track.”

She Continues …..

, “I don’t need the money. I don’t care if I make a dime on this. Let me make a good record. I got in there with Pharrell, and it was magic. Oh, dude, I’m so happy.”

I wish Miley Luck, it’s difficult to move past the child-star imagine that made a person famous, just asked Macaulay Culkin who has turn to drugs after career failures …. But  some have done well bridging the gap between teen pop stars, to a more adult mature artist, with the likes  Usher and Justin Timberlake …  She can fall on either spectrum , but with the help of Pharrell, she should  do well.
