Over the years after wearing heavy wigs Naomi Campbell‘s hairline has done the moonwalk on her.

After dipping in the water and trying to get her hair wet like the white girls, Naomi’s wig slide back allowing the paparazzi to catch the super model looking like quite the chicken head.

The 42-year-old was vacationing in Ibiza earlier this week when shocking photos showcasing her receding hairline were snapped.

 The modeling beauty is bald on the sides.

Florida hair surgeon Dr. Alan Bauman, who has not treated Campbell, said the former supermodel appears to be suffering from traction alopecia — hair loss due to extensions.

“Extensions, weaves, anything artificial hanging on hair — no matter whether you attach it with glue, special magnets, tape — it’s going to cause damage over time,” Bauman told ABCNews. “And unless you give your hair a break from those extensions, it won’t rebound. Being in the public eye and beauty business, her hair has to look amazing 24-7, and she’s worn extensions for many years — decades even,” Bauman said. “I guess you could call it a hazard of the job.”

Ladies if wearing wigs severely itches your scalp or makes it tender over time it’s going to thin your hair.  Regualar wigs are made with a weird fiber that messes up hair growth. Wig caps are made with a plastic material that also causes loss of air to the scalp and hair loss.  While for some it may be difficult to wear their hair naturally it is always a good idea to give your hair and nails a break from cosmetic extensions.

If Naomi decides to go completely bald she will still be gorgeous.
