John and Barbara Wise during happier times

This World gets crazier and crazier.  Just when you thought you heard it all. Like the saying goes–  ”There is no salvation in becoming adapted to a world which is crazy.”

Saturday night in Ohio, while 65 Year old Barbara Wise was recovering in peace at, an Intensive Care unit from an life-threatening illness , her husband John Wise thought she was taking too long to die, and decided to take matters in his own hand.

John Wise 66,  went to visit his wife Barbara, of 45 years, at the Akron General Medical Center during normal visiting hours on Saturday night.

At around 9pm, the Doctors at the Intensive Care unit heard gunshots coming from Barbara’s room.  A doctor then ran into the room, to plea with Wise to drop the gun. Two minutes later security guards came on the scene.  The security guards were unarmed but able to arrested John and take him into custody.

John intentions was only to murder his wife, he didn’t threat are get aggressive with anyone else in the hospital.

Authorities still don’t know why John wanted to shoot his wife who was already suffering in intensive care.

Thankfully,  Barbara Wise is the true definition of nine lives, she  did survive the gunshot, and currently in critical care at Akron General Medical Center. No details  on the reason Barbara was in the hospital in the first place, but I’m damn sure John had something to do with it.

John has been charged with aggravated attempted murder and is expected to be arraigned Monday.

UPDATE: She died this morning, police are investigating whether or not it was a mercy killing.
