The United States is over in London dominating the 2012 Olympics like Pinky & The Brain.

On Saturday morning tennis star Serena Williams became the 2nd woman in history to win  a Golden Slam. Which of course makes her the first black woman to win a golden slam. 

To celebrate her historic win Williams promptly placed on her USA Jacket for the medal ceremony and did a C-Walk dance  in her red and white Nikes; right out on the court in front of the world.   I think it’s safe to say that Williams was just sticking close to her Compton roots... You know what they say about taking the hood places.. But hey It’s Serena, she can do what she wants to do. 

The victory completed a remarkable run of domination by the No. 4-seeded Williams, who only lost 17 games in six matches en route to her first singles gold medal. She won her fifth Wimbledon title a month ago.

Despite the wind blowing hard Serena still demolished Sharapova during the entire game in Wimbledon. It took the No. 3-seeded Sharapova 45 minutes to win a game, and by then Serena had left her in the dust, she trailed 6-0, 3-0. Williams dominated with her serve and repeatedly blasted winners from the baseline, taking a big swing with almost every stroke on Centre Court.

The wind was so strong it blew the U.S. flag off its pole during the medal ceremony. Old Glory came to rest in front of the Royal Box.

‘‘It was probably flying to come hug me because the flag was so happy,’’ Williams said.

Her sister Venus also showed her Compton pride with red, white, blue and brown/gold highlighted braids along with red lipstick, white eyeballs and blue eyeshadow. SO  patriotic..

I’m not even mad at Serena Williams crip walk. Hell I would have crip walked too.She brought Compton To the Olympics.
