Oneal Morris, As a Transgender Female

Months ago, a story broke about Shatarka Nuby’s death due to buttock injections that were filled with cement, Super glue and  “Fix a Flat” — (A But Pad, would have been much simpler)

The South Florida transgender,  Oneal Morris was charged for injecting people with Fix-a-Flat in a black market buttock-enhancing business, which left Shatarka Nuby dead,  was arrested Thursday on a charge of manslaughter, and is being held on a $150,000 bond.

Morris, 32, was arrested at her mother’s house in Coconut Creek on only one count of manslaughter.  Transgender Morris, who identifies herself as female, was booked into jail as a man,  according to the Miami New Times.

Nuby,  32 died back in March, after telling friends and relatives that her skin was turning hard, hot and black after her injections.  Morris was the only assistant in Nuby’s buttocks injections, which a  medical examiner called “massive systemic silicone migration” as a result of the cosmetic silicone injections,  caused the death”.  After Morris’ arrest on Thursday, The Broward Sheriff’s Office released a  statement:

“Shatarka Nuby would pay a transvestite she knew as Dutchess up to hundreds of dollars to come to her house and inject her buttocks, hips, thighs and breasts with an unknown substance. Then Dutchess, sometimes wearing medical scrubs and a stethoscope, would seal the injection sites with super glue and cotton balls,” the Broward Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

Morris has been charged multiple times  in the past , on allegations of performing cosmetic procedures with out a  license in both Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

Several  of his/her victims with similar stories to Nuby’s  wrote  letters  to the Department of Health about Morris dangerous practice even before the death of Nuby. So far , Nuby is the only known victim who died due to the illegal procedure.
