The Michael Jackson family debacle is getting completely out of hand. If you thought Michael’s behavior was synonomous to a circus act then you haven’t been keeping  up on the latest with the legendary family.  The fight for control over Michael Jacksons 1 billion dollar estate has the kids caught up in the middle since having custody of them is the key to controlling the estates wealth.

Last week Katherine Jackson was reported missing by her nephew Trent. But the 82-year-old woman found at a resort in Arizona.

Then a court handed over temporary  custody of Prince, Paris and Blanket  to  Michael jackson’s 34-year-old  nephew T.J Jackson who is the son of Tito Jackson and cousin to the kids.

In the court documents guardianship was taken away from Katherine because she was apparently being held against her will.

The matriarch of one of the most drama-filled families in musical history called in to ABC News to give her side of the story, revealing exactly went down this week concerning her disappearance and the catfight between Janet and Paris.  Katherine says she just needed a short vacation and that the children were taken away from her “based on a bunch of lies.”

Katherine Jackson spoke to ABC News from the Miraval Arizona Report & Spa in Tucson, AZ, where she was said to be de-stressing, with Jermaine, Janet and Rebbie Jackson at her side.

“There are rumors going around about me that I have been kidnapped…. I am here today to let everybody know that I am good and fine,” the 82-year-old said.

“My children would never do anything to me like that. It’s very stupid for people to think that. But anyway, I am devastated that while I’ve been away, that my children, my grandchildren, have been taken away from me, and I’m coming home to see about that, also.”

“So I spoke to my grandson, TJ, last night, that I left there to be in charge of my children — and I never leave home without leaving them with instructions of who to stay there with them, the nanny and all of them — and someone had let go the cook, the nanny, and also the housekeepers,” she explained. “I don’t know who did that but they don’t have that power and they shouldn’t have done it.”

“And now, the people are saying they are there with nothing to eat. I am sure they have something to eat but it’s probably not healthy because the cook is not there.”

Katherine also confirmed the lost of  her guardianship:

“But since I have also been away, my guardianship, which I just said, my children, have been taken away from me, my guardianship has been taken away from me,” Katherine went on. “And, but, I spoke to my grandson TJ and also I spoke to Prince and Paris last night and told him I would be home today and they’re waiting for me to come.”

“And I told him it wasn’t necessary for him to go down and sign for guardianship. … I don’t know who instructed him to do that – but that’s what, but he wanted me to come home before that happened, but the ruling in court today was about the guardianship and I think it was based on a bunch of lies, but I have a good idea who’s doing that and who’s behind that…”

Who is behind that? Her nephew Trent who reported her missing.. He was in charge of security and seeing that the kids were looked after.. Jermaine Jackson confirmed that Katherine fired Trent shortly after she got back home.

Katherine was reading from a prepared statement and had trouble reading some of the lines and had to be helped.  Which it’s very odd considering the tweet that Prince Jackson tweeted showing that Janet Jackson was trying to keep the kids from talking to their grandmother.

I highly doubt it’s a coincidence that Joe Jackson has left his home here in Vegas and went to California just shortly after this incident..  Looks like ole Joe might be getting part of the estate back after all..We shall see.

One thing for certain the war over Michael’s estate has caused his kids to grieve the loss of their father all over again.  It was also learned that the fight between Janet and Paris occured because Janet and Jermaine ambushed the kids by trailing them home and tried to take them against their will.

Now we see why Michael kept distance from his family….
