A few days after word came down that The Game was set to marry the mother of his two kids, Tiffany Cambridge on his own reality tv show the wedding was suddenly called off just a week before it was to take place.
Reality shows eventually bring in major checks for the break-out stars of the show (NeNe Leakes $750,000 per season). But to begin a show the salary may begin at only $5,000 a month. With a net worth of $25 million the 32-year-old rapper whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor decided against marrying his fiance just for the sake of television (shouts out to Kim).
The Game tweeted his apology confirming the cancellation:
The rumors are TRUE. The wedding is OFF. It’s not her fault, it’s mine ! She’s a GREAT woman, I just wasn’t man enough 2 see it through.
Important message to all men: If you’re lucky to have 1/2 of the woman I had… Appreciate her & do everything necessary to keep her happy !
I am truly sorry & apologetic to my family, friends & EVERYONE that this has affected & inconvenienced.

Although Game is coming across giving the old line it’s me not you, what he is truly saying is that although she is a good woman he is not IN love with her. People often times appreciate having a good person in their life and try to build a relationship just off of that. Add kids to a situation and it makes it easy to start living a lie. Even more so one does feel guilty when they can’t make themselves fall in love with a person who is good to them. But matters of the heart are often times a thing one has no control over. Love is destiny, it’s either there in the underlying when you first meet or it’s not.. Others meet and feel that they eventually fall in love and just like many others eventually fall out of it . When it comes to matters of the heart no one is in the wrong when they are doing right.
GAME is being a good person by not exploiting his kids mother just to get a check. It was the right decision to cancel the wedding and not have Tiffany living a lie thinking that she had a husband who truly loved and adored her. In essence Game has freed her to find someone else who can give her that love. Which she will find after getting over the embarrassment of being publicly dumped a week before her wedding. OUCH!.

I like how you put it this way. Why marry someone or stay with someone just because they are a great person? Actually, what love has to do with someone being a great person? You are basically settling if genuine love isn’t coming from your end.

Also, I respect the fact that he’s not accepting that check. I wish a few of them on Love and Hip Hop and some of these other reality shows can turn down some checks themselves if you only going to exploit only negativity in our culture.
