The world’s best selling cookie got itself in a bit of trouble this week. Kraft Foods thought they would do something sweet to help support the LBGT movement..
So they digitally altered a picture of a oreo stuffing it rainbow-coloured layers of frosting and posted it to their Facebook page on Monday night along with the caption, ‘Proudly support love!’

Instead of receiving support, laughs and more oreo eaters the company faced a homophobic backlash.
While many of the comments are positive, and the post received over 237,000 likes and 73,000 shares, some people have pledged to boycott the cookie after the post.
‘Proudly will boycott Oreo from now on,’ wrote one user.
Another posted: ‘Corporations should focus on selling their products, not pushing agendas. A big thumbs down on this one.’
One user was more explicit writing: ‘Disgusted with oreos. Being gay is an abmonitation (sic) in GOd’s eyes i wont be buying them anymore.’
Another posted : ”I’d stomp on it!”
Another wrote: “ ill leave all the gays all the oreos they want I wont be eating them,they prolly have AIDS anyways….:)”
However, other users state that after the campaign they’ll now be buying Oreos.
‘Oreos are now on my shopping list!’ wrote one user while another posted: ‘Why are these Oreos not in stores RIGHT NOW?’
I’m with the latter.. I have some oreos in the pantry right now.. If they were colorful and gay they would look even better in my milk.. LOL But unfortunately the company was just bsing, they have no intentions of making any gay pride oreos..

It's a picture for crying out loud…the company is not out recruiting gays. Nobody's child is going to be gay because of a rainbow cookie.
I wonder do anybody remember that big circle lollipop with all these same colors in it…I am sure someone can recall it. Actually the only color missing from the lollipop is the purple, remember most of us had that sucker at least once in life, now all of a sudden these rainbow colors scare everyone.
