Reality star Tami Roman has  forever cemented herself in reality tv history.. Now the Basketball Wife has parlayed her reality role into a comedy series called BELLES on TVOne.

She posted the news to  her Facebook :

“Keep a lookout 4new comedy on TVOne called BELLE[S]. Starring Elise Neal, Ella Joyce and ME! God is good. Thank you TV1 execs, Ed Weinberger, Miguel Nunez Jr and Phaedra Harris 4 believing in me!”

While many feel that Tami’s bad attitude and lack of knowing how to respectively deal with people has been the reason behind the veteran reality star never having a non-reality TV Role in the past 15 years of being an actress, it’s apparent that someone likes her.

According to BlackThespian.com, Tami created the series and Miguel Nunez, Jr. is producing it alongside the TV One execs.

In addition a big name joined the cast..  The talented actress Elise Neal (who claims the Pussycat Dolls stole the song Dontcha) from her.)

The comedy sitcom is said to be centered on an upscale soul food restaurant. 

You would think that people would be happy to see Tami’s progression but apparently the readers of Sister 2 Sister,  are speaking of boycotting and not watching the show already.

Which sounds silly to me.. There is no difference between the ROLE a person plays on a reality show and a ROLE a person will play on an actual tv show..  Or maybe it’s just us inteligent people who understand that reality shows are also scripted..

Either way I’m looking forward to seeing what Tami will do on the show..  How about you – Are you interested in the show?

In other news TMZ is reporting that Basketball Wife Jennifer Williams is having her Bentley repossessed for $ 92,000 after not paying the note since 2009.. Clearly Jennifer has a lot of money so something is up with that story.
