Actress Yvette Wilson lost her battle with cervical cancer and kidney disease last night.
She had been fighting stage 4 cervical cancer and kidney disease according to reports.
Wilson was best known for her role on the UPN shows Moesha and its spinoff, The Parkers.
Her Moesha co-star, Shar Jackson, acknowledged her death in a tweet last night:
“Everyone plz send prayer and light to my sister and best friend Yvette Wilson. I need my prayer soldiers right.”
When things took a toll for the worse Shar was unable to hold in her pain before sharing news of Yvette’s passing with the world.

Brandy’s mom, Sonya Norwood just left the following message on her Facebook:
“Our condolences to the family of Yvette Wilson (Moesha). She was a joy, loved family and friends, kind and a good actress. Please pray with me for her family and friends.”
