Mary J. Blige showed up and showed out at the priemiere of ‘Rock Of Ages” in London and Los Angeles.
Wearing all black and a Jesus piece Mary showed up beaming on the red carpet at the star-studded premiere of Rock of Agesat Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Friday. The singer-turned-actress, joined her co-stars including Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Julianne Hough.
Mary plays a gentleman’s club owner named Justice in the musical, covering ’80s hits such as Journey’s “Any Way You Want It.” She researched for the role by visiting strip clubs.
“When I got there, the women are so sincere and they’re running [over] and they’re like, ‘We love you, we love your music. You saved my life,’” said the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul. “I’m sitting there talking to them all night and the guys are waiting to get dances and they’re talking to me.”
On Saturday Mary J. Blige attended the Rock Of Ages Premiere in London.. She wore a stunning patterned black dress with her blonde frocks pinned in an updo to the side.
