Early this week, Sherri Shepherd felt that she needed to address Lil Kim current appearance. Everyone knows that its no secret Lil Kim had some work (well a lot of work done on her face) So Sherri decided she would send a tweet to embarrass Lil Kim and her Fans , she tweeted :
I love Lil’ Kim,” said Shepherd, “but who is this woman? What happened to the very pretty girl I use to know?”
Sherri should have known before hand that this tweet would be considered as an attack on Lil Kim , and her fans wouldn’t like it. Sherri should have expected some backlash by the rappers fans, which infact she did get. One of Lil Kim fans sent a tweet to Sherri in response to the negative comment :
The tweet that set Sherri off came from user : @DaCloneKiller which tweeted
“Somebody should drag [Shepherd] in a back alley and rape [her].”
Sherri considered this tweet was a threat on her life, so she decided to get the police involved. Sherri tweeted several more tweets about the situation on her page.
“I am going 2 file a police report 4U threatening me. And so help me God, when I find out where U live, charges will follow
She went ON and ON and ON :
WHO DO I REPORT THIS TWEET TO? THIS IS A THREAT & I’M PISSED. This online bullying nonsense has got to stop…
I need Twitter to step up. For someone to say I need to be raped… Really? You think I should be raped in a back alley? Let’s see if the police agree with you. I took a pic of your tweet.
I’M FILING A POLICE REPORT. SO TELL ME NOW WHAT SHOULD BE DONE WITH ME.
And ONNNNNNN somemore :
Just talked to the police about …the laws should be changed for folks that bully – no consequences & the bullying continues. I am going 2 file a police report 4 U threatening me. And so help me God, when I find out where U live, charges will follow. I’m tired of folk thinking they can hide behind a celeb Avi & type anything they want to you w/o consequences b/c they can’t be seen COWARDS. I’m not a little 19 year old… I’m a grown a– woman… seriously you want to threaten me? I’m on my way to the police. This type of bullying is one of the reasons children are killing themselves b/c there’s no consequences for the bully(s). Those who follow me you may want to turn me off cuz’ I’m about to tweet all [User's Name]‘s followers … I’m looking for him/her.
We cannot let this bullying of our children continue… we have got to stand up to bullies – even online bullies. No one is stealing my joy; however I’m very angry that cowards masquerading as big talkers get to let loose online. On my way to the police station… will let you know what they say when I get back
Just returned from filing a police report for this online harrassment nonsense. I will be pursuing this legally. The police said @Twitter has to be subpoenaed for release of [username omitted] information. Thanks for the support everyone. Bullying has gotten out of hand & it’s breaking my heart that kids are out here having to deal with it. I retweeted the tweets and threats to bring attention to the seriousness of cyber bullies. There [should] be laws that demand consequences. I will not sit back and ignore these COWARDS – this type of online bullying goes on unchecked @Twitter what are you doing about it? How does a kid deal with the constant bullying assaults & it not affect their mindset? These are the kinds of tweets they get- how do we help?
Yes the tweet that came from @DaCloneKiller was a little disburbing, but I do feel that Sherri started it, with the negative tweet about Lil Kim. Both parties should take some responsibilty in the matter. Sherri original tweet could be considered Defamation of Character on Lil Kim’s part. If any person or the news media says or writes something about you that is understood to lower your reputation, or that keeps people from associating with you, then defamation has occurred. With Sherri being on “The View” for many years, anything she says could easily lower someones reputation, which she did with her tweet about Lil Kim’s current state. What if Lil Kim decides to get her lawyers involved and sue Sherri for Defamation of Character, she has a case. Just a thought.

I DISAGREE WITH THE WRITER THAT SHERRI BROUGHT THIS ON HERSELF. LIL KIM , SHERRI SHEPHERD, BEYONCE, JESSICA SIMPSON AND OTHER CELEBSS ARE PUBLIC FIGURES. BUT CALLING FOR SOMEONE TO BE RAPED IS WAY OUT OF LINE, A THREAT AND EXTREME SEXIST. SHERRI IS DOING THE RIGHT THING BY GOING TO THE POLICE AND CALLING OUT THAT TWITTER THUG AND EXECS AT TWITTER. BUT I DON'T THINK THEY WILL BE ABLE TO DO ANYTHING? NOW, I SEE WHY MANY CELEBS ARE NOT ON TWITTER AND OTHERS CLOSED THEIR ACCOUNTS.
IF SHERRI DOESN'T SHUT HER CRY BABY AZZ UP!
WHILE SHE'S BUSY TALKING ABOUT LIL KIM SHE NEEDS TO PUT THE BEN & JERRY'S DOWN AND HOLLER AT WEIGHT WATCHERS.
GROWN AZZ WOMAN CRYING ABOUT A BULLY ON TWITTER.. GIRL BYE!
lol
lollll she gotta a lot of police reports to file lolll
Shit Sherry think she the shit…..lol
Dragged in an alley and raped???? Way over the top! Not mad at Sherri. That was a little extra. Bet that ass will think before he or she tweet something like that again #humph
wow, she is really that threatened by a tweet, like people say stuff on Twitter for attention, retweets, etc and seeing that she saw that tweet and decided to address it, she gave that person what they wanted. SMH she is doing alot
LOL….Damn she is a BIG Cry Azz baby….I never cared for her
Sherrie’s biggest mistake is her mouth!
She gives way too much Personal information about herself on FB & Twitter.
I personally, do not post pictures of my children on FB/Twitter.
We know what Sherrie’s husband Sol & her son Jeffrey look like. Because she has posted their pictures.
Celebrities should learn from Beyonce & J Z who know how to protect their privacy.
Privacy is very important whether you are a celebrity or not.
she is carrying on about cyber bullying but isn't publicly shaming her by posting photos etc a form of bullying? what did the fat cow expect seriously?
[...] actually taken seriously in a court of law these days.. Irrelevant people like Sherri Sheppard will actually call the police in an attempt to get a tweeter arrested for their threatening 140 character [...]
