Kanye Rocking a pair of the Air Yeezy 2

Saturday is the offical release date of Kanye West’s much “anticipated” self-designed sneaks, Air Yeezy 2 for Nike. The pair will officially retail for $245, but that hasn’t stop some sneaker crazed fans, willing to spend over $90,000, the price of a new luxury car, or a brain operation,which these folks obvious need, if they are willing to spend  $90,000 for a pair of shoes that are probably made of cheap plastic. (Just my opinion)

Early this week the shoes were made available on Ebay for pre-order, by Wednesday the bidding had reached almost $90,000.

There were several other bids for the sneakers ranging in between $3,000-$5,000 (You would think these shoes was made by Jesus himself, but only by a man that made Jesus Walk In a Song  )  .

Some other retail stores will also get in the act of tricking the simple minds to believe they need the shoes by holding their own online raffles.

The Air Yeezy 2 is the second version of the original pair that was released back in 2009 which flopped, so it’s hard for me to believe that the $90,000 information isn’t just a marketing scheme to create a buzz before the actual release date, but we will see.
