At this point when someone in Hollywood is accused of being gay it doesn’t surprise anyone..  Actor John Travolta has been added to the pile but there’s a bit of proof that it’s actually true.. (the photo above)

John Travolta has been accused of having a six-year affair with his male pilot. Joan Edwards, the actor’s secretary from 1978 to 1994, made the allegations in an interview with the National Enquirer.

Travolta’s secretary, Edwards alleges that Travolta, who was recently hit by two lawsuits from male masseurs claiming he made sexual advances towards them, had an affair with pilot Doug Gotterba in the 1980s.

Edwards said that it was Gotterba, now 60, who ended up finishing the affair with Travolta, 58. She added that Gotterba finished the secretive relationship because the actor piled on too much weight and suffered with personal hygiene problems. She elaborated:

“Of course I knew John was gay. Doug is a wonderful guy and we are still good friends. He told me they had a sexual relationship.”

Edwards does not stand alone in his accusation. Gotterba’s former boyfriend, Robert Britz also confirms the story:

He told the  Enquirer:

“Doug told me he’d had a homosexual relationship with John in the 1980s. Doug said John was constantly grabbing at him, but he put up with his sexual advances because working for him was lucrative.

But John’s advances eventually started to repulse him. Doug said he hated sleeping with John as his body was very hairy and he didn’t like the way he smelled.

John would also become very heavy between movies. Doug said he was huge and it turned him off. The relationship ended shortly thereafter.”

It appears that someone is confused about their sexual identity.  I wonder if it bothers him more that he’s been outed, or that he is said to smell bad.  GROSS!
