Bronx, NY - Women from the Bronx are not to be messed with.  They are serious about their fashion rather that be a knock off Louis from the block or the latest designer clothing.. But you don’t have to be from the Bronx to LOVE your iPhone. Breaking someone’s iphone can get you killed.

Frankie Hernandez, 17, found that out the hard way.

Around 1:30 a.m. someone heard a woman scream ” YOU F***ED UP MY PHONE!”

That yell came from 25-year-old Jasmine Diaz.  She was yelling at her teenage boyfriend Frankie.

As a result of seeing her iPhone damaged, Jasmine completely lost her already troubled mind and did the irrational. As Frankie got out of the car to get away from his crazy, older, girlfriend Jasmine smashed the gas and plowed into Frankie in her Lincoln Aviator.

‘His head was crushed. He wasn’t moving. There was blood everywhere.”

With her broken iPhone in hand Jasmine simply sped off. 

Emergency crews found the boy unconscious with severe trauma to his body.

The dying teen was rushed to Lincoln Hospital where he was immediately pronounced dead.

Frankie’s family said the couple had been dating for over a year but their relationship had always been a volatile one. 

According to  The New York Post Diaz used to babysit Frankie when he was a child.

‘They grew up together. He didn’t want to leave her,’ Ms Hernandez said. ‘She’s crazy. She liked to hit him and take advantage of him.’

Hernandez’ brother Cesar heard his sibling screaming for help and ran out into the street to help him.. But there was nothing he could do after witnessing Frankie’s head bleeding and smashed on the concrete. 

I heard the rubber burning and saw her just drive off,’ he said. ‘By the time I got to him, he was trying to talk, but just bubbles came out of his mouth.’

Family members said Diaz went into a rage after Hernandez accidentally dropped her iPhone, breaking it.

‘She was screaming at him about her cell phone,’ Ms Hernandez told the Daily News.

‘He was saying it was an accident. She didn’t care. She was hysterical.‘

After the incident, Cesar said he ran from the crime scene to Diaz’ mother’s apartment and began banging on the door.

‘I could hear her screaming inside, ‘I just hit Frankie. I just hit him. I don’t know what to do,’’ Cesar said.

After finding Diaz at her mother’s house, Police brought her to the 44th Precinct station house for questioning.

Ms. Hernandez, Frankie’s mom said she wants Diaz to “rot in Hell” for what she did to her son.

‘I want her to rot in hell,’ ‘Jail is too good for her. She needs to rot in hell.’

‘My son was such a peaceful boy,’ Ms Hernandez told the Daily News. ‘He would never hurt anyone.’
