Although VH1 was quick to shell out half a million dollars for the rights to film The Ev & Ocho show which is a spin-off of The Basketball Wives detailing the pre-wedding and wedding bliss of the reality couple, top Miami hotels are none to thrilled about having the feisty sometimes ratchet basketball wife on their property.
According to TMZ: a few of Miami’s top hotels have turned the couple down stating they didn’t want the drama that came with the couple’s wedding bliss being celebrated in their ritzy establishments.
Because of Evelyn’s irate behavior, outbusrts and millions of viewers who have petitioned against the show, The St. Regis, The Ritz, and Breakers have all rejected the couple and told producers they didn’t want to have to handle the fighting or risk having their hotels portrayed negatively on TV.
Time is running out for the couple.. The wedding is supposed to be filmed next month.. Hopefully they find a suitable establishment soon. There’s always the Circus Circus hotel in Vegas.. They even have kid friendly rides.. I think that hotel would be most appropriate.
