My brother told me the other day that men like women that are natural, no weaves, arched eyebrow, or lashes.
Well It made me wonder is that why I’m still single. I do wear weave only because I have to and I do arch my eyes but nothing over board and every once in a while I wear lashes.
Do all men feel this way?Ticley
Dear Ticley,
This is an interesting question. It sounds quite ridiculous though. Men in general do like women that are natural and wear very little make-up.
But then their are men who actually appreciate a woman who takes the time out to keep her appearance very feminine.
Your weave is absolutely not the reason you are single. However if you are a woman who has a certain appearance you do have to place yourselves around the kind of men that like women like you.
If you are hanging out in the wrong environments the men around you may be a bit intimidated by you. Looking a certain way does come off as high maintenance to some men.
The men who like women who keep themselves up are usually the men who also dress well, get manicures, pedicures and keep a clean cut hairstyle and appearance.
If a man himself doesn’t dress that well, isn’t into fashion and keep up a clean appearance will of course be more than likely be attracted to a woman who mirrors him in appearance. He will view a woman who spends money on her appearance as “fake:.
Take the guy in this video below for example.. He’s rough looking.. He doesn’t want to see you looking all nice and fabulous.. He’ll spend more time judging you for your outer appearance while meanwhile saying it’s what’s in the inside that counts..

DO MEN HAVE A PROBLEM WITH HAIR WEAVES?
I do!!! All the women in my life since I was a kid have had natural hair. My Mother, sister aunt, cousins have had long (past shoulder) hair. It was what I have seen all my life. I don't need a woman to have long hair, though it is my prefernce, just work with with what you got. is that too much to ask for?
yes ! i do not like them… natural is always better
