Evelyn Lozada has went from being the most loved woman on Basketball Wives to the most hated. A former fan of the show has started a petition asking fans to abstain from watching the Ev & Ocho show which is a spin-off from BBW detailing Evelyn and Ocho’s preparation for their July 4th wedding date.
The Petition reads:
“Evelyn Lozada is a bully. The violence on ‘Basketball Wives’ is horrible and disgraceful. This is not a hate petition against Eveyln Lozada. We simply will not support violence. It hurts to see violence amongst women on television for entertainment purposes. It is not OK for women to hit each other on TV.
Just about every altercation and argument on the show has involved Evelyn in some way, shape or form. From the yelling match on the season 4 premier against her former bestie, Jen, to the table climbing and hair pulling in the last couple of episodes, the woman has a problem for reals.”
So far the petition has over 12,000 of the 15,000 signatures it’s seeking, as fans become fed up.
Star Jones has also revealed her distaste of the show. Although it’s clear to anyone that she’s actually more disgusted with her ex husband Al Reynold appearing on the show over and over again as the gossip go between of some of the girls.
“The View” host took to twitter to express her disgust:
“It may be ‘comfortable’ to be quiet when women of color slap the crap out of each other & run across tables barefoot, but #ENOUGHisENOUGH.”
“About to put together a group of sisters to finally ‘tell the truth’ about the image of women of color in the media.”
Its apparent that the incident between Evelyn’s assistant Nia and Jennifer put the icing on the cake. She continued:
“And the thought that the woman from #BBW who was smacked doesn’t have the RIGHT to file assault charges is LUDICROUS! You NEVER give up your right not to have your ‘person’ intentionally assaulted unless you are participating in an agreed physical activity.
…little black girls deserve more than what we’re giving! It sickens me @lov3lylina85 when young sis think that behavior is acceptable. U can’t get a REAL JOB acting like an animal.”
I don’t know they are expecting.. Evelyn isn’t going to do anything but say ‘You Ain’t About This Life” Bish NMFF. And Shaunie let’s it be known that it’s all about the check. Big Bank take lil Bank.
I really like BBW but I will admit I’ve only watched one episode this season.. It became a bit much for me.. Personally I enjoyed seeing them live the CHAMPAGNE life sipping mimosa’s and having brunch.. Didn’t really care for the fights. Jenn is the most admirable one because she’s such a phucking lady and a business woman.

I loved the show at first but women acting like clowns is not my style and you are what you watch. Have a blessed day people. They are too grown for that and personally I thing Evelyn is jealous of Jennifer because she keep bringing it up.

People REALLY! this is a TV show, reality or not the producers set that all up to get more VIEWERS! every season there is a new favorite and a most hated, one season its was Royce, one season its Tami, now its evelyn, next season it will be someone else! I tuned out about two month ago but when I heard about this site I had share my thoughts. Really, this is their life? Are any of them really friends? They have the opportunity to be so much more. Sad and pitiful existence!
