George Zimmerman turned himself in for arrest today to the Seminole County Jail in Sanford, Florida. He was charged with one count of second degree murder, in the shooting death of t 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, who died of a gunshot wound to the chest and whose body was left in the morgue unclaimed for 3 days after being shot in his own housing complex.  After forty five days of constant protests and marches, the Florida state Special Prosecutor announced the charges this evening in a press conference.

At 8:30 this evening, George was processed and booked at the Seminole County Jail.   His lawyers previously said he was under a lot of stress and on the verge of a nervous breakdown..  In his mugshot the stress is apparent as Zimmerman has lost a generous amount of weight since his previous arrest 45 days ago when he was taken to the Sanford Police station and let go hours later.  He looks like a pleasant white guy in the photo… 

Regardless of his looks, George will face the judge tomorrow in a bail hearing.  At this bail hearing it is possible that a judge could toss the charges out and George could very well be a free man once again.
