Everyone knows that Terry Perry is known for can I say a little “exaggeration” . This came to my attention when he did the episode on Oprah, about him having such a rough and outrageous childhood. I’m not saying that Perry’s story about a rough child hood isn’t true, I just have a hard time believing every single detail, But that’s just me.
During this time in America, where the main focus right now is an intense racial profiling incident , which lead to the unarmed Trayvon’s untimely death. This would be a good time for Tyler to fabricate a racial profiling incident right. You all may not agree, but something is suspect.
Early this week Tyler Perry publicly accused two officers of racially profiling him during a traffic stop in Atlanta. Perry stated that he was leaving his famous studio in the ATL, when he made left turn from the right lane. Yes, A left turn from the right lane. Isn’t a cop suppose to stop someone rather Black or White, for such a traffic violation which is an illegal turn? So I thought. Tyler went into detail that he does this often as a security precaution to make sure he’s not being followed by a crazy fan ( And How Was the Cops Suppose to know This?) He quoted
“It’s a safety precaution that my security team taught me.”
The cops pulled Tyler Perry over for the traffic violation. Perry claims during the stop he was harassed by two “hostile” white officers. A black cop then came on the scene and recognized him on the spot. Perry posted on his Facebook
”RACIAL PROFILING SHOULD BE A HATE CRIME INVESTIGATED BY THE FBI!!!”
He Stated
“immediately took both officers to the back of my car and spoke to them in a hushed tone. After that, one of the officers stayed near his car while one came back, very apologetic. I said all of that to say this: do you see how quickly this could have turned for the worse?”
No Tyler, I don’t see how this could have quickly turned for the worse. I think it was just your feelings being hurt because the white cops didn’t recognize you. I think it’s very irresponsible of Tyler to try and stir up a racial debate, which its clear that’s this was not the case.
The Atlanta Police Department says it’s launched an internal investigation ….

I don't find it hard to believe at all. Given the Harold Morgan case in Chicago, the Kenneth Chamberlain Sr case in NY…its obvious that some WHITE cops feel all Black men are guilty of something until proven otherwise. And will continue to shoot and murder Black men with impunity…so what if Tyler is in closet..what hell does that have to do with him being racially profiled and harassed by police. If you read the whole story it was more than just him making the turn and the cops stating that was illegal. One of the cops actually laughed at him and stated why would anyone want to follow you as if it was a joke. Well lets see maybe cause he is a multimillionaire superstar… but the as always the underlying theme was ni**er who do you think you are…and as long as Black folks defend this treatment of ANY other black folks. Its the kind of treatment we will continue to receive…self hatred is a motha.
