Dear Miss Kissy,

Well this guy, who is one of my best guy friends, told me a few days ago that he really likes me. He’s a year older so I don’t get to see him that much. He tells me I’m beautiful and sweet and smart, and says he wants to date me, but not yet.

People tell me that I’m ugly and no one wants to date me, but i have hope for this guy. I think he’s different, but I haven’t had much dating experience. He is super beautiful and has so many chick friends, so I keep worrying that he is just going to end up with one of them. He also told me to tell no one that he likes me, because he thought it was too soon.

So my question is, should I wait for this guy, or just say screw him and try to move on? Thanks so much!!!

Reading this I quickly wondered who could possibly be telling you that you are ugly? Must be your family members.  They are good for saying stuff like that.   Like my nieces, when I visit Milwaukee, they always tell me that I have on too much make-up and I have to tell them that I don’t have on too much make-up, that they are just used to seeing ugly people so when they see pretty people they think it’s because of make-up.. Bad azz lil kids..

I used to call people ugly all of the time, but I was mainly talking about their insides.. Truth be told not that many people are really ugly on the outside.. I mean some may be unattractive, but not ugly.  A valuable lesson is to protect your mind and what enters it. In order to protect your mind you have to keep BS circulating in one ear and out the other. Garbage In, Garbage out.

Your brief description of the scenario has lead me to believe that you make good money.  The guy probably calls himself “Playboy” and loves to use women for whatever he can get out of them. He doesn’t want you telling anyone that he said he wants to be with you because he doesn’t want anyone like me, messing up his butter pecan game and stopping you from becoming emotionally attached to him so that he can use you up for whatever he can get out of you.  When a man likes you and wants to be with you he wants everyone to know.  That guy is feeding you a crock of BS! Don’t tell nobody? Girl, that’s what child molesters tell their young victims.

Now back to your looks. No one has ever told you this before but weave and make-up is a mthfker.  It can make anyone look good.  Get you some MAC make-up or some Dermablend make-up.  Go on youtube and watch some tutorials on how to do your make-up. Montana Deleon makes excellent make-up videos.   Wigs with China cut bangs tend to look good on mostly everyone..

Also a nice body will make-up for not having the prettiest face. Work out.   I mean just look at Serena, her face is not cute at all but men like Drake fight over her man looking azz because of her body booty.

Buy clothes that accentuate your figure.  Wear perfume and most importantly walk, talk and breathe confidence.. Even if you don’t really feel confident, if you exude it someone will buy it.

And like I said, forget that dude! He is evil. Those other chicks can have him.
