ORLANDO, Florida - 17 year old Trayvon Martin was visiting his father and stepmother in a gated townhome community called The Retreat Lakes in Sanford, 20 miles north of Orlando.
After watching the the NBA All-Star game on television Tray decided to take a break from television and walk to the store 10 minutes away to grab some snacks. His little 13-year-old brother, Chad requested that he bring back a bag of skittles. Off to the store he went.. When he arrived back to the gated Florida community he was greeted by the white Neighborhood Watch captain.
Sanford police received a 911 call reporting a suspicious person by a caller with the last name of Zimmerman. Police told Zimmerman to stay out of it and that police were on the way. But six minutes later 911 received six calls about a gunshot and a fight.
Without waiting for police to arrive, the neighbor George Zimmerman, 26, a college student who is majoring in CRIMINAL JUSTICE confronted Trayvon, who was on the sidewalk near his home. By the time police got there, Trayvon was dead of a single gunshot to the chest.
“What do the police find in his pocket? Skittles. ”A can of Arizona ice tea in his jacket pocket and Skittles in his front pocket for his brother Chad.” the families lawyer Mr. Crump said.
Although names are blacked out on the police report, Crump and media reports at the time of the shooting identified the caller as George Zimmerman who is listed in the community’s newsletter as the Neighborhood Watch captain.
Trayvon’s family now wants the white Neighborhood Watch captain arrested, the family’s lawyer said on Wednesday.
“He was a good kid,” Crump said in an interview, adding that the family would issue a call for the Watch captain’s arrest at a news conference on Thursday. “On his way home, a Neighborhood Watch loose cannon shot and killed him.”
Zimmerman is claiming self defense although Trayvon is unarmed. Crump said the family was concerned that police might decide to consider the shooting as self defense, and that police have ignored the family’s request for a copy of the original 911 call, which they think will shed light on the incidents.
“If the 911 protocol across the country held to form here, they told him not to get involved. He disobeyed that order,” said Ryan Julison, a spokesman for the family.
“He (Zimmerman) didn’t have to get out of his car,” said Crump, who has prepared a public records lawsuit to file on Thursday if the family doesn’t get the 911 tape. “If he never gets out of his car, there is no reason for self-defense. Trayvon only has skittles. He has the gun.”
Since Trayvon, a high school junior who wanted to be a pilot, was black and Zimmerman is white, Crump said race is “the 600 pound elephant in the room.”
“Why is this kid suspicious in the first place? I think a stereotype must have been placed on the kid,” Crump said.
Ridiculous.. I want to know why isn’t Zimmerman under arrest already? It should be impossible for this type of racism to go unpunished in this day and age.

Aaron when you have cases such as these going unnoticed and murderers getting away with such heinous crimes against black people its natural to resent and dislike the said group causing the problem. Too many cases such as this one has happened its not right. The fact that this pig ignored police warning and went ahead and did his own thing, should see him in jail. @Pocahantas -im feeling the pain too. Another family in mourning. Another mother's heart has been ripped out. She'll NEVER EVER get over this as long as she lives. His brother will live with that pain because Trayvon went to buy skittles for him… How does he get over that? No amount of counselling will make him stop blaming himself.. Im praying for that family because its only God that will keep and comfort them.

He was walking around freely because the police had no suspicion that it was anything besides self-defense under the FL SYG law. He was taken into custody to appease you ridiculous negroes who scream racism at every opportunity (and for a political move). They don’t have a case. By the way, it is found that Traymark had THC in his system and he was likely stoned judging by the 7-11 footage. He was likely trying to concoct some “lean” by what he was buying; watermelon cocktail and skittles. Only thing he needed was Robitussin. He tweeted his history of drug use prior to his death. Amazing revelations!

Sad to see that so many have fallen for the MSM’s “narrative” on these events, their witholding of facts to sell a story and enrage the black community which is ridiculously easy to do. Painting Trevon as a cherubic, innocent little kid and GZ as a white, giant, racist murderer. He’s hispanic fools! He killed in self defense after Trevon pummeled him into the ground. If you look outside CBS/ABC/NBC.. you can find the truth and it ain’t pretty. Trevon’s drug use and on his 3rd suspension this year. Not a stellar character. Sad.
