THE culprit who took the photo of Whitney Houston in her casket has been identified.
The owner of the funeral home revealed today that they know who the culprit was that snapped the pic.
According to the New Jersey Star Ledger, Carolyn Whigham of Whigham Funeral Home and two pastors say they do know who took the photo that ran in the National Enquirer.
They just aren’t identifying the person and say that’s up to the Houston family.
Whigham said Thursday that her funeral home “had no role in this shameful betrayal.” She responded to claims that either she or her employees were involved. She says the Whitney’s body was ALWAYS under security of lock and key from L.A. all the way to New Jersey that was provided by Nippy Inc. Whigham says that only 3 people in the funeral home were exposed to Whitney’s body.
The Houston family has ceased it’s investigation into the casket photo leak. Whigham wants her funeral home completely cleared and out of harms way after having someone spit in her face while she was in her gold hearse last week.
She also wants the world to know that the GOLD HEARSE was not specifically for Whitney nor was the “W” that was on the back of the hearse. According to the funeral home owner they have always had gold equipment and the “W” since 1943.
Whitney Houston died at the age of 48 Feb. 11 in California. Whigham says she determined the photo was taken Feb. 17, a day before the funeral.
