Last week along with a few friends I attended a mixer at the Bellagio hotel in Vegas. The Bellagio is a five star hotel. From top to bottom the hotel drips in luxury and detailed art even the custom carpet looks like it was hand made in Persia somewhere.
They have this new lounge called LILY. So we are in the lounge socializing with a bunch of local females. Suddenly this dude with a plaid shirt and a toothpick in his mouth appears behind my friend and says “I knew I would find you here”. I’m looking at him wondering what he was doing there. He seemed a bit out of place.. My friend owns a VIP Services company so she posts her events publicly on Facebook and a lot of times strangers show up.
Fast forward a week later and this guy “Thugums” I don’t know his name, so that is what I’m calling him. Anyway Thugums took a liking to my friend. She’s pretty, curvy and exotic looking. Sometimes people mistake us for one another. Over the past week he made attempts to get my girl to go out with him.
He’s not really her type but out of the kindness of her bored heart she agrees to a lunch date with him because he’s a nice guy. He asks my friend where she would like to dine and she said the Cheesecake Factory. One hour before the date Thugums calls her saying there is a problem. He claims that his ex girlfriend just showed up at his house unannounced. They hang up and she texts him stating that he has a bit too much drama for her and it’s best that they discontinue communication. He texts her back detailing the real problem. He tells her the Cheesecake Factory is too expensive for him and asks if they could go to TGIF instead.. She felt like she was filming for an episode of Punked.
I notice that some people are intimidated by the Cheesecake Factory.. Maybe because of the expensive decor. But the thing is The Cheesecake Factory isn’t expensive at all. It is one of the most nicest, inexpensive places to dine. Because of the decor and the extensive menu everyone loves it. Rather you are the average person or rich you still want to go to Cheesecake Factory to eat. They even have lunch specials from 1-5 where you can get a lunch size portion for $10-$12 bucks.
Ladies you ever notice that anytime you lower your standards to deal with a man that it ends up going all bad anyway?
