98 year old Mary Kantorowski

“He is Just a Scum Bag”  the 98 year old mother said about her son, who is evicting her out of her own home

On Mary Kantorowski 98 birthday, is when she got a shocking eviction notice from her son, Peter Kantorowski  trying to  force her out of FairField Connecticut home . Mary and her deceased husband John,  brought the home in 1953 where they raised their family, they have always paid their bills on time.

 In 1996 mary decided to put the home in her son Peter’s  name, in hopes that he would share it with his brother Jack, after she is deceased, and use it as a family home.  Mary still pays all of her bills with her social security checks, but technically her house is under Peter’s name.  Mary also explains that she hasn’t seen Peter in eight months, and he only stays a few miles from where she lives.

To her surprise  Peter, not only wants the home to hisself, he is trying to force Mary into a  nursing home.  Mary is quoted

“I never thought he’d do anything like that,

 I just don’t understand him at all, what’s happening with him, there are no other words to call him, he’s just a scum bag,”

  The courts are now involved, an evaluation was done on Mary, and she was deemed to be competent. The judge assigned Attorney Richard Bortolot as a voluntary conservator.  Richard Bortolot explains that Mary is very much in a good state to care for herself, and do day to day task in her home. Richard quoted

“There’s been allegations she’s living in squalor, she’s confused, she has dementia, all these different things. It’s not the case. So my position is, she wants to stay in her house, she’s staying in her house,”

Richard also stated

“I’ve been practicing a long time, and I’ve seen a lot of nasty things and this is, you know, he’s really made the top ten list,”

Her other son Jack Kantorowski is very shocked about his brother’s tactics, Jack explains

“He put it in his name, moved it to his wife’s name and to a trust. I don’t know what’s happening anymore,”.

Bortolot states that Mary isn’t going anywhere . He is arguing that she has “life use” of the house, meaning she can stay there as long as she likes.

Mary probably didn’t give Peter them good country a$$ whoopings as a kid, he should know better to do his mother like this. I hope Mary stays in her home, and gets his name removed from anything that has to do with her well-being. It’s obvious he only cares about himself.
