This has been one interesting week.  There is a reason why Rihanna has been running around here getting Thug LIfe tattoos.. 

First music fans were outraged at the support and stage that was given to Chris Brown at the Grammy’s  a few years after he beat Rihanna black and blue.  Shortly after guests confirmed that Chris Brown was indeed at Rihanna’s birthday party earlier this week.  Then Miss Info confirmed that Rihanna indeed would be releasing the remix to her album favorite, ‘Birthday Cake’ on her birthday (Feb 20th) and it would feature Chris Brown.

Rihanna took to Twitter to give her thoughts on the outrage. She is totally against everyone who took sides between the two after their battle.

Let’s not forget some very prominent people spoke out against Chris Brown after the beating incident. Some radio stations totally banned his music.  She went on Diane Sawyer as a victim of abuse.  A lot of people isolated Chris Brown in Rihanna’s honor. 

One of those people who took Rihanna’s side was Billboard Magazine’s  Assistant Editor Jason Lipshultz. He wrote an open letter to Rihanna after hearing the news of the collabo. 

..The news about CB dropping by your “Birthday Cake” remix… damn. Three years and nine days later, it is officially implied that, no matter if you two are “single” or “in a relationship” or “it’s complicated,” a token of forgiveness has been earned by Brown. And that’s not cool, to a whole lot of people.

Look, you could do this one song with Brown and never work with him again, or go record “Watch The Pop Throne” with him. You two could become a couple again and get married in Vegas next week. Maybe you want none of those things, or all of those things; you certainly have the right to do any of those things. In your words, “there’s only one you, so just be that.” Do you, Rihanna!

But, in all honesty… you can’t do you, Rihanna. Not here. Not with Chris Brown. Because like it or not, millions of people are paying attention to you, trying to be as cool as you, attempting to find love in a hopeless place and wondering if it’s okay to walk down the same dark alleyway twice. Young girls look up to people like you to guide them through circumstances too complex for them to tackle on their own, and by granting Chris Brown an iota of tolerance, you implicitly encourage others to consider doing the same. [...]

If you continue letting Chris Brown slither into your work or personal life, nothing tremendous will happen – bloggers will blog and a backlash will form, but you’ll no doubt continue ruling the Hot 100 and the world will keep spinning. Yet if you grit your teeth, sacrifice instinct and decide to inspire… even three years removed from that horrific incident, that “f-ck yourself” moment, that public banishment of the man who physically attacked you, will still resonate with so many people looking for their own morsel of strength. As essential as your voice has become in the pop landscape, you have the opportunity to deliver a message that transcends any lyric you could ever sing, to stand for something that lasts much longer than any three-minute piece of radio fodder. We, like you, all want to let our individuality shine – to know who we are, and just be ourselves – but in this one instance, we need your message to be perfect.

Frankly, at this point, I have more respect for SUPERHEAD. These two getting back together does not surprise me at all. I’ve been seeing it coming for months after their endless subliminal tweets to one another.   Sometimes I watch these things and I think it’s best for me to be quiet.. Because I’ve heard the fans. They say Rihanna has forgiven him so you should forgive him too.   In general people just are not too bright.  Rihanna has all of the money in the world and access to all of the men in the world. On top of that Rihanna is a stunning woman, immense beauty and sex appeal.  She’s got spunk, she’s got personality and we love her.  But this is where you learn that Rihanna is no different from you.  

Being wealthy doesn’t mean that you have good sense. Rihanna is no different than a pimp and a hoe.  See Chris is seducing her. He is sexually putting it on her. Rihanna loves Chris. It doesn’t matter that he beat her black and blue. It doesn’t matter how much hate a man has to be filled with to beat the crap out of a woman..

Rihanna doesn’t understand just how little Chris cares about her.  She’s an easy pawn. Chris pets her and Rihanna purrs and says Yes Daddy, I will do whatever you want me to do.  Frankly I find this whole situation pathetic.   It’s one thing to forgive but another to take back up with your abuser and help him profit off of you.  Chris is using Rihanna to help clean up his image.

It’s tickles me how obvious these artists realize that a good majority of their fans are not that bright.. I mean what intelligent person is going to buy this new collabo? It doesn’t make sense.. What about the next young girl in the industry who is getting her azz beat by a dude? DID TINA TURNER TAKE BACK UP WITH IKE? No she didn’t..

It’s all out in the open now. No more sneaking around.  

So phuck it . #TeamBreezy, EAT THE CAKE  Rihanna! 

And to all the other women who are about to go running back to the one man in the world who can’t stand them enough to beat them black and blue, yes you are stupid too.  Believe that.
