Missouri, 18-year-old Alyssa Bustamante, who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, was sentenced to life in jail with the possibility of parole.
In October 2009, the then 15-year-old Bustamante killed 9-year-old Elizabeth Olten in St. Martins, Missouri, by stabbing Olten in the chest and slicing her throat. She used her little sister to lure Elizabeth outside to play, then she took her into the woods and told her she had a surprise. She then pulled a knife out of her backpack.
Bustamante had been charged with first-degree murder, but avoided a trial and the possibility of life in prison with no chance of parole by pleading guilty to second-degree murder.
Bustamante told “she wanted to know what it felt like” to kill someone.
Bustamante wrote in her diary:
“I strangled them and slit their throat and stabbed them now they’re dead. I don’t know how to feel atm. It was ‘ahmazing.’ As soon as you get over the ‘ohmygawd I can’t do this’ feeling, it’s pretty enjoyable. I’m kinda nervous and shaky though right now. Kay, I gotta go to church now…lol.”
Bustamante, later, led police to a grave where she had hid the body under some leaves in the woods.
Of course now that she has been sentenced she wants to take it all back and give her life for the murdered girls and blah, blah, blah.. We have heard in all before.. RIPB (Rot in Peace Bish)
