Fond du Lac, WI - Michael West, a 41-year-old Fond du Lac man was jailed Sunday after he allegedly physically abused his wife. In his defense he told the police that a “ghost” did it.

Officers were called to the West’s residence after reports of a domestic disturbance. When officers arrived on the scene, Mrs. West was on the couch crying and bleeding heavily from her nose.

When officers questioned the woman, she stated that West had choked her twice, then punched her in the face several times when she attempted to call 911.

West told police that his wife had fallen several times, then changed his story and claimed a “ghost” had caused the injuries. He was apprehended after resisting arrest. The police report states that Michael was intoxicated.

This is not the first time Mike beat up his wife. They previously had a no contact order. West was booked into the Fond du Lac County Jail and charged with strangulation, battery, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. His bond was set at $1,000. 

Ghost researchers are chopping his claim up to be some BS.  There is definitely too much beer in Wisconsin…  Hope someone doesn’t walk up behind him in prison and say “BOO”.
