New York-bred rapper French Montana  hit up Hot 97′s Angie Martinez show and ended up saying something that I found DUMB..

He explained why he ended up picking Diddy over Kanye West…

The Moroccan-born artist was embroiled in an alleged bidding war between the two labels, and told Hot 97′s Angie Martinez, that his decision to go with Diddy over Chicago’s finest came down to Yeezy’s lack of availability.

“I met up with him one time and then I met up with him again. There were things that I was used to ’cause I was already moving, like a money train,” French told Angie. “Kanye doesn’t have a phone.

If you need to get in contact with Kanye, you have to EMAIL him. I mean, you can’t tell me how to do that. I don’t even know how to use an email*, so I guess me and you is never gonna talk! And I’ma put my career in your hands? He’s definitely talented and I felt like if I went there, we would have definitely made history.”

“The hottest in the city” instead signed with Bad Boy Records and has nothing but love for honcho Diddy. “When I met up with Puff, everything he promised me came through,” French says. 

I just assumed that when someone picks Diddy’s label that they really have no other options.  But after giving his explanation I understand why he picked Diddy.. Diddy knows how to talk to these street dudes.  Kanye on the other hand is a bit different…  Anyway, dumb azz decision if you ask me..  Would you pick Diddy’s label or Kanye’s very G.O.O.D Music label?

 *Perfect candidate for Diddy. Easily screw him.. He probably doesn’t know how to “read and wrote” either…  Give him a piece & chain and it’s cool.. SMH
