Jay Z closed his 40/40 club last summer  to undergo renovations. Last night he reopened the club with a new look to a star studded crowd.

The stars came out and walked the red carpet before entering the redesigned sports bar. Jay’s buddies Warren Buffet, Spike Lee, Steve Stoute, Kevin Liles and Selita Ebanks  all attended. Ashanti who ended up being the most stunning guest of all said “Hov always has big parties, so I’m definitely looking forward to going inside and mingling and jingling inside.

While everyone was excited about the new club, baby Blue Ivy was a hot topic on the carpet. Ashanti couldn’t be happier for the new parents, but when asked if she had caught a bit of baby fever herself, the “Foolish” singer made it clear that she isn’t ready to be a mother just yet. “Oh no, boo-boo, no baby over here. I say it enough in my records,” she said with a boisterous laugh.

The rap superstar arrived in a Maybach shortly before 11 p.m. without his Queen B.

“Congratulations!” a crowd of gawkers shouted as he headed down the red carpet.

“Thank you!” he yelled back with a wave.
