Halle Berry the woman who some say can’t keep a man has just snagged herself another man.
Ms. Halle Berry is ready to walk down the aisle again according to US magazine, Over the holidays french actor, Olivier Martinez, 46 proposed to the 45 year old actress Halle Berry and the couple is now engaged. The engagement was sealed with a beautiful emerald and diamond ring designed by Gurhan.
Halle has been married twice before. The first time to MLB player David Justice in 1992 and the second time to singer Eric Benet from Milwaukee in 2001. After Eric Halle decided she was done with marriage and was content with just dating.
Halle then decided that maybe playing in the snow would be a better option for her when she found love again and had her first child, her daughter Nahla with model Gabriel Aubrey in 2008. That relationship lasted a total of 4 years before it ended in 2010.
With a trail of failed relationships behind her Halle had completely given up on being married, but she trusts Olivier. “He makes her feel safe. He’s a keeper!” a source told US Magazine.
Just last year while she was dating Oliver, Halle revealed in an interview that she was done with marriage and that the lack of having a father in her life is partially responsible for the bad mating decisions that she made.
I WISH I had known then that I was not the marrying kind. It would have saved me a lot of time, heartache and grief over the years. I made all the wrong choices when it came to love. I have been an idiot. But, now, it is like a gift to myself – seeing more clearly and making better decisions. If I had a good father in my life, growing up, then I do not think I would have made the mistakes I made. I would not have been lost in love. I would have had a good role model and known what to look for. As it is, I had to find out about marriage from the men I’ve married. I have done it twice and I am not going to do it again. The traditional form of marriage is not for me.
Just cross Halle off of your can’t keep a man list.
