Months  ago rumors speculated about Common and Drake beefing over Serena, which the two supposedly dated …

Now both rappers have decided to put the beef on wax with a diss track called “Stay Schemin” .The so called battle started back in November , when Common released the track “Sweet” , which was aiming towards soft rappers, and right now the softest of them all is Drake.  A month following the release Common, revealed that the track was indeed aimed at Drake.

 Drake responsed to  Common diss  last Friday with a verse in Rick Ross “Stay Schemin”  Which he spits

Don’t be duckin’ like you never wanted nothin’/ It’s feelin’ like rap changed it was a time it was rugged/ Back when if a n—a reached it was for the weapon/ Nowadays n—as reach just to sell their record,”

 As if one diss track wasn’t enough Common also decided to do a verse on the same  Rick Ross track “Stay Schemin” the remix , as a response to Drake’s diss, by rapping

Don’t do it, ’cause every song you make Joe is really hoe music
I heard you said you wasn’t a bitch ’cause you sing

 On MTV VJ, Sway radio show “Sway in the morning” Common Stated

  “He opened his mouth and said some things, so if that’s what he want—all that subliminal [talk]…you could do that too, but say it now,”

Common also talks about his track “Sweet”

“The verse is about me but when you hear some of the stuff on the chorus it’s like you can’t help but think about dude and I guess that’s what he felt. So at the end of day he fits in that category, he already embraced it, so wear it.”

 Drake don’t want to beef with Common. Remember Back in day Common destroyed Cube and the whole west side connection  with the dis track “The Bitch in Yoo”.
