Big Meech – The Women Of The Black Mafia Family Coming To TV, BMF Wives?? [VIDEO]

Wouldn’t it be nice to dress fly, rock the latest in fashion and not have to work?

Okay, I’m going to get back to that question later.  For now, Is BMF Wives coming to a TV near you?

According to Ozone Magazine, Gricelda Chavez, Lisa Buford, Tiffany Gloster, and Tonesa Welch (pictured left to right) have started filming a reality show about their lives as wives and girlfriends of the infamous drug kingpins BMF [Black Mafia Family].

Big Meech

Demetrius Flemory (BigMeech) along with his brother  Terry  Flenory ran (BMF), a multi-million dollar drug trafficking organization originally from Detroit, Michigan,  with major hubs in Atlanta and Los Angeles. The drug enterprise had very close associations within the Hip Hop Community.  Including  promoting rapper Young Jeezy.

Big Meech was known to take good care of his people, strippers and everyone in the community.   BMF on several occasions would frequent strip clubs and throw  upwards of $20,000 in $1 bills in the air and at strippers in the club. Big Meech once checked Diddy when they were on a yacht and Diddy was bragging about how much money he makes. Big Meech told Puff “yeah but none of your people have money. I have money and all my people have money too”.

‘Big Meech’ and his brother Terry’s drug empire completely crumbled in 2007 when they were sentenced to 30 years for drug trafficking and running a Continuing Criminal Enterprise.

Over 30 members were arrested in a drug raid. The FBI believed that BMF was responsible for moving over 2,500 kilograms of cocaine a month throughout the US and prosecutors believed the organization had made over $270 million dollars.

So what are do we expect from a new show focused on the wives and girlfriends of these men? Here’s a breakdown of the four ladies according to Ozone:

Terry’s wife Tonesa Welch (far right), who calls herself the “First Lady of BMF,” appears to be the Shaunie O’Neal of this whole venture and hopes to help tell Terry’s side of the BMF story.

Gricelda Chavez, who was involved with music producer Damon Thomas (incidentally, although not as famous as Kris Humphries, he is also a Kim Kardashian divorcee). Damon was a player in a BMF money-laundering scheme involving jewelry purchases and, when confronted with the evidence, agreed to cooperate with the government as a witness against Terry.

Lisa Buford’s man “PJ” was a high-ranking BMF affiliate on Terry’s side of the organization.

Tiffany Gloster and her man Jerry “J Rock” Davis were both indicted by the DEA on BMF-related charges in 2007. Tiffany served a two year sentence for her part in helping to launder the proceeds from J Rock’s cocaine sales. J Rock is currently serving a sentence of 39 years and 10 months in prison.

Okay.. Now let’s talk about this for a second.. Let’s talk about this as a responsible black community. I’m not going to front like I’m not going to watch the show.. I DEFINITELY AM.  But the difference between myself and the average black teenage girl is that I’m an adult.  I’m not susceptible to the  fallacies and inaccurate portrayals that these reality shows headlined by non independent black women give to society.

Reality tv showcasing black women right now bombards the public with images of black women who only reached a level of success due to largely having sexual relations with the right man.. A man of great financial means.  Not that I’m a gold digger, but yes I do advocate that it is a waste of time to date a man who can’t financially do anything for you.  BUT the problem I have with these reality shows is that a young gullible teenage girl might actually make it her life ambition to seek out and chase men with money, instead of seeking out to get a college education, own her own business and live in society as a productive independent woman who ADDS to her mate instead of solely depending on him for her financial well being..

If these shows keep up there may never again be another Oprah.   It’s not all bad. The good thing about these shows is that it does make black men understand that they are going to have to work hard to be able to take care of their families. It’s dispersing the idea that a black woman is supposed to suffer and be with a broke man and do everything on her own.   But at the end of the day someone has to be a leader. There has to be more Michelle Obama’s more Shanel Cooper Sykes’. Every black woman can not be a stay at home mom while her baby daddy is out working hustling.

Most importantly the show is about women who dated drug dealers!!!!! Would I be wrong at this point if I said JEZUS PHUCKING CHRIST.. #StopIt   This is madness..  And in response to that do you know what they will say? Well they have MobWives, no one sees anything wrong with that..   So that’s why no one ever says anything… Cause if it’s good for the goose it’s good for the gander. Right.. But gander does not understand it’s image has not reached an acceptable level in society where such a show would not add to the already degrading and lowly world image of the black woman..

At this point I am demanding a show where black women are fresh to def, fly, rocking the latest Louboutins and have their own money that was acquired from working hard and building successful careers..  When I interviewed Shanel Cooper Sykes she was hoping to do a reality show like that.. I truly hope she can make it happen.

Should the wives of drug dealers be on tv??

They did it with the Mafia’s family didn’t they? Wasn’t John Gotti family a t.v. reality show. So all I am saying is if they can do it why can’t we. We all need money, and one way to get it is exposure. I can’t put nobody down for wanting to make a quick buck. It’s the American way, right.

This is immoral & totally irresponsible of the programme makers to glamorise criminals & their enterprises no matter how generous the Hip Hop Robin Hood wannabes they claim to be. These people became fabulously wealthy through breaking the law & through people’s misery either by way of drug addiction or due to them being related to drug users who have died or victims of the addicts who have stolen & committed crimes to feed their nefarious habits….

It’s also lazy programme making just point a camera at real life & see what happens. Either way there is going to be drama as people are forever playing up to the camera!!!
