End of The Year Letter From The Editor

AskKissyIt’s December 31, 2011.   I’m thinking back to last year around this time I was crying because my web designer was screwing me over and taking forever to get my website up. (He liked me too much)  Now this year I have a successful blog that gets thousands of visitors a day and I get a lot of love for my writing.

This year was far from perfect. It has been stressful, but I’m happy because I know for a fact 2012 will be an even brighter year for me. Why? Because I have been dedicated and worked hard to make my website successful. NOT because I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth. I’m not rich but I feel rich in spirit. Therefore I smile and reflect riches to the world. I don’t wallow in misery or bad things that happened to me in the past. I keep pushing ahead.

Times are tough right now. Some people could not buy Christmas presents. Some people do not have a job. You are not alone. Many people have been affected financially over the past few years. It’s temporary. It does not have to be the same way next year.  You can have a beautiful Christmas next year.

One of the most important things that I read in a book many years ago was “The only difference between where you are right now and where you will be this same time next year are the people you meet and the books that you read.”  You have to spend your time wisely investing in your future. You have to find something you are passionate about and focus on that. You have to surround yourself with people who can assist you and read materials that will help you become a better person.

Instead of feeling sad, get out a notepad and write your goals down for next year. Write down some things you can actually do. And during the year when things are getting tough think about Christmas, think about what you want to be doing for Christmas.  Stay focused.

If I could grant one wish to the world it would be that everyone had food, water, love and a decent amount of money. But I can’t grant wishes, and life is not fair. Some people were born into a great life. Others have to work hard to get a great life. But one thing if for certain, effort combined with passion equals success.

Don’t forget to be blessed that you survived 2011 and are still in good health. Some people didn’t make it this year.  Some made it and lost a limb or are ailing… Only the strong survive. Let’s go hard next year. Let’s look back and say I’ve accomplished so much this past year.

In closing I want to thank everyone for their support of this website.  I hope I have helped a few people in between my entertainment and jokes. Cause I believe that there is no point of being successful if you are not helping anyone but your self.

Happy New Year Everyone

With Love,

Kissy
