For the past few years there has been a serious epidemic of teenagers attacking and beating up homeless people. This latest story hurts my heart.
In New Jersey a homeless man named David Ivins was attacked by a teenager who later posted the video on youtube.
The teen punched him, bloodied his nose and hugged him just to kick him again before stealing his bike and wishing him a Merry Christmas. All while being egged on by his 17 year old camera man.
Twenty-year-old Taylor Giresi, of Lake Como, was charged with aggravated assault, conspiracy to commit assault, robbery and theft. He was jailed Tuesday on bail of $111,000.
Police say the 17-year-old cameraman, whose name has not been released, will be charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and theft. He’s already charged with conspiracy and has been released to the custody of his parents.
I think more than anything it bothers me how much time people who sell drugs get, but people who actually hurt people for no reason who will later grow up to be adult miscreants get off with warnings and very little time… AND how the heck do you beat up a man who already has nothing and take what little he has? That is some f@ggot azz sh@t!

UPDATE: Because of the video David has received an outpouring of support and a Facebook page has been made to assist him. The owner of the Belmar Inn even put him up for free.
The 50-year-old Ivins, with his thick beard and layers of clothes, was a familiar sight in Wall, Belmar and Lake Como. He could often be seen riding his bike around the Monmouth County towns and inside their bars.
He told The Associated Press on Tuesday that he was preparing to move into a donated hotel room and that he wanted to take advantage of the help he’s getting.
“I’m going to sober up,” he said as he spoke to a reporter in the lobby of the Belmar Police station. He had just had a meal of spaghetti and salad, and his backpack and two shopping bags were bulging with other food he’d been given.
The 20 year old’s mother says that people are making a big deal out of nothing. “It’s just a bloody nose” CLICK HERE to see that video.

Man, those kids and their parents need to be locked up. It breaks my heart hearing about the less fortunate being abused or taken care of. They need to let that kid live in a homeless camp and see what happens. Half of these homeless are vets who went to fight for our country and came back to nothing ( thanks U.S gov’t). Very few are addicts/drunks and we should be helping them.
