Kobe Bryant has moved out of his $4 million dollar Newport Coast mansion he shared with Vanessa.
A financial settlement between the couple has already been reached and Vanessa gets to keep the mansion and quite possibly inherit half of Kobe’s wealth under California community property laws due to Kobe not instituting a prenup.
Kobe is reportedly worth $150 million, which includes real estate holdings, stock, cash and other assets.
Vanessa filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences” in Orange County Superior Court. Vanessa decided to end the marriage because she believes Kobe was unfaithful again. Vanessa did not marry Kobe just to be cast to the side. She married for loving and as the rumors fly Vanessa reportedly was not getting much loving from Kobe and his was spreading himself very thinly amongst his mistresses. Earlier this year, there were rumors Kobe allegedly fathered a baby out-of-wedlock.
Kobe allegedly sent the woman to live in Italy for a year. The woman returned to the states and allegedly sent Kobe paternity papers after a game in February. There’s no word on if the baby was his.
The couple released a statement through their publicist: “The Bryants have resolved all issues incident to their divorce privately with the assistance of counsel and a Judgment dissolving their marital status will be entered in 2012. We ask that in the interest of our young children and in light of the upcoming holiday season the public respect our privacy during this most difficult time.”
This divorce is not going to get nasty. As to protect his interest Kobe is going to quietly hand over his assets to Vanessa. Just recently the two attended their kid’s recital together and left in the same car. Sources close to the couple say that Vanessa caught Kobie cheating several times over the past 10 years and she just could not take the embarrassment anymore.
Vanessa will get to keep her $4 Million “apology ring” — an eight-carat purple diamond set in a glimmering band.
After losing most of his endorsement contracts — even sandwich-spread maker Nutella wanted nothing to do with him — Kobe Bryant gradually rebuilt his public reputation. Several NBA Championships, as well as a Gold Medal-winning performance at the 2008 Summer Olympics re-cast him as a flawed but highly dedicated professional who had finally grown up in the public eye.
But rumors about his married life continued to haunt him over the last few years, with sportswriters noting Vanessa’s imperious behavior during locker-room visits and a nanny suing the couple for allegedly being mistreated.
All of the cheating and infidelity is why Vanessa Bryant was often seen with a trademark scowl on her face.

Unfortunately all that money still won’t make her feel vindicated she will feel empowered for a short time then like all those that are lacking in what they really need out of life she will feel empty and alone.
