Rapper Soulja Boy is been busy in the studio working on his upcoming album and has failed to take care of his other business.
He was recently served with eviction papers for missing rent payments on his crib in the ATL.
Earlier in the year, someone (likelySoulja Boy) “leaked” a story saying the rapper had bought himself a $55M private jet for his birthday . We later found out that story was far from true and now we are getting news that he’s not paying his bills.
Soulja was recently served with an eviction notice for missing the November rent on his ATL crib ($4,725/month).
If he doesn’t come up with the money by December 5, he may find all his stuff out on the street.
So far, Soulja hasn’t commented on the eviction, but since he lists L.A. as his home on “Twitter” maybe he’s not concerned about the ATL crib and just felt like not paying.
No word from the swag man on this as of yet. However, he did mention that his new album Promise will hit stores in 2012.
Obviously though he can afford to pay his rent.. He’s just busy… SWAG!

why in this day and age are these people in entertainment so sloppy about the business side of the music business? It’s not like they are breaking new ground in a field that no one else knows anything about. There are too many examples for them to learn from for any of them to be going through something like this.
Look at their “top dog” Jay-Z, and all of our “top dog”, Oprah. If you learn nothing else from these two people you should learn to manage your finances. Oprah always told people to sign their own checks so they know where their money is going and how much of it. Jay-Z always talking about stacks and flippin money. Even Beyonce when she was in Destiny’s Child talked of him knowing how to flip that money three ways in the song “Soldier.”
It’s sad to see some of these people who can even make a name in the business these days, end up in situations like these. Don’t they also even remember when Left Eye broke it down in an interview how it was that TLC sold 10 million albums yet were broke?!
These people need to admire the real things about that game and not the accessories. Know the game and handle your business you won’t even need to pay for the accessories. You really think Beyonce has to buy shoes or bags or jewelry if she doesn’t want to?
