Bad things happen to women when they refuse to gold dig…
After selling MILLIONS of records and winning multiple Grammy’s as a member of the R&B girl group TLC the singer Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins has had experienced many difficulties in her life spanning over the past decade.
The “Ain’t 2 Proud To Beg” singer divorced her reportedly abusive husband Mac 10, battled sickle cell anemia and recently had to have brain surgery. Now adding to her difficulties she is now facing bankruptcy. But don’t feel too bad about her finances. According to the court documents Tionne is broke but not dead broke.
According to docs filed last month in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, T-Boz (real name Tionne Watkins) found herself owing creditors $768,642.99 — mostly from mortgages on her $1.2 million house.
The docs don’t paint a picture of exorbitant spending — she takes in $11,700/month in income, with monthly expenses totaling $8,821.
TLC had ten top ten singles, four number one singles, four multi-platinum albums, and four Grammy Awards … but according to the docs, T-Boz only pulls in $1,200/month in royalties.
T-Boz might have dodged the bankruptcy bullet if she’d been able to collect the child support she claims she’s owed — which according to the docs is $250,000.
To her credit, she lasted longer than Toni Braxton… Maybe she will find herself a nice retired NBA or NFL Player to help her out… Monica is doing great.. She had better follow Monica’s lead and put out a song and cast a NBA player as the lead for the video and hope he falls quickly… #IJS

The situation she’s in is sad, but there’s a lot of people in the same boat in the “real” world. Out here you have to know how to do different things and live within your means. I feel bad for her.

Everyone is saying live within your means but considering that she has had health problems maybe she was & things went down hill. She had sickle cell & was still performing all over. I know from experience how medical bills can total way beyond what you have planned for.
