Kris Humphries‘ dad has spoken out about Kim Kardashian filing for divorce last week, questioning the reality TV star’s character and saying that she “blindsided” his son with her decision.
“There was never a discussion about it — it just came out of nowhere and blindsided Kris,” said William Humphries, the basketball star’s father, in an interview with Life & Style. “How could someone do that?
Kardashian’s reps have claimed that Humphries was aware that his wife planned to file for divorce. William Humphries holds that is not the case and that his son instead found out on the Internet.
“Kris was completely surprised. The news was already published before he found out,” he told the magazine. “[Kris is] hurting, but we’re here for him. It’s nice that he’s here [in Minnesota] with family during this time.”
“It’s not a nice situation. No matter how you look at it, he’s going through a divorce,” William adds.

Meanwhile, Humphries’ friends are also appalled by Kardashian’s actions. One friend shared with the magazine, “Kris told me that Kim was texting him a lot, but he wouldn’t respond. They did speak briefly the day the split was announced — but only because Kim was apparently pissed that Kris had released his own statement.”
Another adds, “Kris has started wondering if Kim just looked at him as good for ‘Kourtney and Kim Take New York’ ratings.”
Yet another wonders how Humphries will proceed from here, given that the religious Midwesterner does not see divorce as an option. “He’s not signing,” the friend claims. “He does not believe in divorce.”
Awe, Poor Kris. He actually thought Kimmy K wuved him… What a joke. I hope this is all pretend just like the wedding.. I mean please don’t tell me that people who don’t know Kim yet watch her show were able to tell that the wedding was a farce. This is indeed quite embarassing to Humphries and further proves that the man is a dufus. I don’t blame his dad for being mad though. Kimmy Cakes had no right embarassing his poor son like that.

I think Kim likes the idea of being a hoe. Marrying for money then leaves him for another rich sucker to belch out more wealth into her purse. Sorry if it sounds harsh but lets face reality; Kim was never interested in serious commitment only in financial needs and attention just like Paris Hilton.
