Rapper Nicki Minaj is a busy lady. Between constantly being featured on everyone’s albums, doing interviews, shopping for barbie outfits and hot pink chicken bone  necklaces she somehow managed to find the time to pose for the November Issue of Cosmopolitan magazine.  

On the cover Nicki appears dainty laced in all black leather with a “normal” looking wig.

Inside, she reveals a list of things she sees herself getting done over the next 5-10 years, her presuicidal thoughts, not liking rich men and the difference between her and Lady GaGa. 

What does Nicki’s future look like? 

In 5 Years: “I will be getting married and, a couple of years after that, will have a bun in the oven”

In 10 Years: ‘I’ll have hundreds of millions of dollars I will have put out five albums & will have an Oscar & Grammys”

ON PRE-CAREER SUICIDAL THOUGHTS:
“I kept having doors slammed in my face. I felt like nothing was working. I had moved out on my own, and here I was thinking I’d have to go home. It was just one dead end after another. At one point, I was, like, ‘What would happen if I just didn’t wake up?’ That’s how I felt. Like maybe I should just take my life?’

What was one of your first rap lines?
“Cookie is the name, chocolate chip is the flavor/Suck up my style like a cherry Lifesaver.” 

How do you feel about the Lady GaGa comparisons?
“I think Gaga is freakin’ dope for that. But I can’t be bothered. Give me my sweats. I like transforming from completely raggedy to Ahhh, I’m ready. That transformation gives me a high.”

ON The Abusive Relationship Her Parents Had:
“He would beg, cry, stalk us… One time, he pulled my mother out of a car and dragged her for two blocks. After that, I had a phobia about unlocked doors. Anywhere my mother and I were, I made sure the door was locked, because that was my only way to protect her.”

How did you deal with the Power Hungry Industry Men When You First Started?
“When you come into the business as a woman, you have to play a lot of mind games because the men tend to be very aggressive. It’s like chess—you have to protect your goods. Had I just started screwing the guys, it would’ve been over because they never would’ve taken me seriously.”

What kind of face do you like in a man?
“I do like a dope nose profile, one that’s straight on the side. And I like full lips. I’ve never kissed someone who didn’t have full lips.” 

 

On rich men

“I’m around millionaires and athletes every day who think, ‘All I need to do is get in a room with Nicki Minaj,’ and they’re gonna leave with my number. You can’t run a game on a rapper. I’m always 10 steps ahead of them.”

“I may be smiling in their face, but my antenna is up,” she says. “When they’re trying to show off their cash or their watch, it’s an immediate turn-off.

The excerpt on her thinking of killing herself because things were not working out for her should really help someone reading..  It’s a message to hang in there and keep at it. Have some patience. Success will come.

Now that Nicki Minaj is successful and at the Top of her game she is ready for new adventures. The rapper already has it all layed out for herself due to  hard work, but obviously she is still planning for more in a war all alone. She left the checkers for those other rapper chicks.  Hot Pink Chicken Bones, different voices and crazy bipolar Barbie outfits, this rap chick is not playing..  A empire will be built. 

Spotted
