Lindsay Lohan arrived early for her 8 a.m. appointment at the morgue to begin serving her 120 hours of community service, part of her shoplifting sentence.
“She is not getting any special treatment,” Assistant Chief Ed Winter said. “She’s going to be cleaning toilets, mopping floors and emptying the trash bins.”

Winter said she is one of about 15 to 20 people who perform this type of community service daily. She won’t be going near the autopsy rooms, he said. She will get a half-hour break for lunch that she must bring with her.
“If she doesn’t behave, I’m going to ask her to leave,” Winter said.
Coroner’s staff has been ordered not to take any pictures of Lohan. They are forbidden from fraternizing with community service workers, Winter said.
Lohan’s morning arrival was well documented by radio and TV crews. Helicopters buzzed overhead. According to her publicist Steve Honig, Lohan left her home at 5 a.m. and was at the coroner’s office at 5:35 a.m.
Meanwhile according to TMZ Linsay’s mom Dina is writing a tell all book about her daughter:
Lindsay Lohan‘s mom is trying to expose her own daughter’s dark secrets, blowing the lid off of Lindsay’s alleged drug and alcohol use in a memoir that she’s shopping around town — shopping it as recently as 2 weeks ago — as Lindsay was looking down the barrel of a hostile judge and a jail sentence.
TMZ has obtained the draft of a prologue for Dina Lohan‘s memoir, which Dina’s rep is shopping to people in the literary world. In the prologue, Dina writes:
“I blamed her friends, her career and her handlers for an (sic) newfound lifestyle of partying excessively. Drinking, drugging and behaving irresponsibly became Lindsay’s way of daily living–and it tore me up inside.”Dina explains why she moved Lindsay from New York to L.A. at such a young age:
“How could I deny my daughter the chance of a lifetime? How could I hold Lindsay back from her dream of becoming an actress? So, I listened to others and sent my daughter to Hollywood with a few pieces of luggage and a chaperone.”When Lindsay began acting crazy, accumulating mugshots and what not, Dina says she was helpless, claiming she couldn’t demand that Lindsay return to New York. Dina also confesses she was conflicted since she was both Lindsay’s parent and manager.

I am not a fan of hers, however from what I have seen Linsday needs help. To be a person that has money and still shop lifts where is the logic? She could be hoping that it wakes her up.

Sounds to me like her parents are the reason she so fucked up. She’s another Macauly Culkin, his parents fucked his life up too, so he divorced them. I hate to say Lindsay needs time away from her media hungry parents.

the girl needs help and it ratting out my kid gets them the help that her parents cannot give her then so be it. she is a grown adult and has to be held accountable for her own actions. her parents were not with her when she committed her crimes so how could they be held responsible? enuff with the misplaced blame, she did the crimes, she is to blame. you can do as much ofr your kids as you can but there comes a time when you have to let them hit rock bottom in order for them to see life ain’t playin no games with them.if it gets to that point and you don’t institute tough love then YOU are a failure as a parent
