In his last radio interview TI stated that he would be using more of the social networks to connect with his fans. True to his word he hopped on ustream to talk live with his fans.

He had a little difficulty getting up and it was funny watching him break his ustream virginity and keep asking “is he on now”.. After he got situated the King chatted with his fans about his  new book “Power and Beauty” including book signings and campaign stops along the way. 

He also stated that he would be giving away at least 10 autographed copies of his book on his website and encouraged his fans to start reading more.  His book is roughly $27.. Expensive…… 

He had a open question and answer segment where his fans asked him some questions concerning the book.. Here are a few of the questions that he answered:

The goal of his book:

I’m trying to give you something for your entertainment and slip a lil knowledge in there.  The book is not about my life but about things that I observed in the hood.

What inspired you to write the book?

I felt there was a huge void in urban fictional books. When you read one urban book you have read them all. A bunch dope, cars and killing.  I am trying to do something different. I’m trying to give you that excitement, that edge and some education at the same time.

Do you think your book will be inspiring to others?

I definitely hope so. I hope people pull from is that there are going to be different things in life from being a teenage to approaching adulthood, there are going to be things in your life where things appear to be good but turn out to be incredibly bad and sometimes things that appear incredibly bad at first turn out extremely good and .. as long as you stay true to who you are and don’t compromise your integrity, morals standards or principles. your heart will navigate you through those circumstances and lead you to the right place. Rather it seems to be good or bad you’ll always end up in the right place. That is what people will pull from power and Beauty.. In that way I hope it’s inspiring.

That is indeed a strong message.
