Do H0es really be winning? Or are they h0es at all?
I was listening to my favorite morning radio show & the female host continues to talk about & even made t-shirts that say “Hoes be winning!” As a father of a young woman this makes me cringe, but the more I think about it there are a whole lot of women “winning” i.e. being successful right now that some may consider hoes. Matter of fact it has to be at an all time high! I for one don’t consider them a hoe any more than I would a woman that isn’t in the public eye that does the same or worse just with little or no reward for their actions.
From Kim Kardashian, Amber Rose, Draya, Evelyn Lozada, Melissa Ford, Dolicia Bryant, to the popular groupie or stripper the list goes on and on these women are getting serious paper and some are becoming stars in their own right. Being seen and recognized with a high profile dude can definitely raise a female’s status and tax bracket as seen over and over again. It seems like keeping their appearance up at all times, being in the “right” spot at the “right” times and looking great while doing it is the only requirement.
Let’s face it some women get by or gain an advantage mainly based on their looks and when I say get by I mean build a very good life for themselves. Have you ever wondered why Mya, Christina Milian (b4 marrying Dream), Cassie, Amerie, Megan Good, Stacy Dash, Lisa Raye, Draya, Kim Kardashian, Amber Rose, and the list goes on and on …. But anyway have you wondered how these ladies have continued to strive and stay relevant even when at periods of time it seems like they don’t do much if anything?
I don’t doubt the talent of some of these ladies but there’s a long list of ladies that seem far more talented but are no longer relevant in the mainstream. I think the answer is no matter what your opinion of these or any other women I left out they have used their beauty to succeed. They’ve maxed it out!
No matter what else was going on in their lives they made sure when the cameras flashed or the club lights were on their game was tight! Their outfit was good, their hair was on point, their swag (I hate that word) was on high regardless. Does anyone really wanna see Mya sing? Stacey Dash or Lisa Raye act? Is Kim Kardashian the smartest business woman on the planet?
I say “Hell No!” but Kim Kardashian made $65 million last year. Stacey Dash & Lisa Raye were cast in single ladies (even though Dash has left or quit). Mya hasn’t come out with a single in forever but still gets booked and stays in the news, same with Amerie. I have no idea what Christina Milian does but she has that paper and had a mansion before marrying and divorcing The Dream. These and other beautiful (at least on the outside) women have maxed out their potential. They stay around the right people to advance them in life, they take care of their appearance, work out, and dress the part.
Call them whatever you want but they flipped what they had into a career and a lifestyle. They’re winning in these streets! We can talk about the morality or lack of with anyone but who are we to judge?
They get hated on but profit from their looks, but I guarantee when they or women like them walk into a room they immediately stand out from the rest. They carry themselves differently, they look different, they really don’t have to say much. The men are drawn to them despite the rumors, have you ever noticed how the same groupies go from one artist or entertainer to the next? They’re in the right places at the right times and always look on point.
So hate if you want but women like this definitely seem to be winning nowadays. They chill in VIP, travel in private jets, and make serious money. Seems like they laugh all the way to the bank. I don’t judge them at all but I know some women will call them hoes. I saw a t-shirt on the internet that said “Hoes be winning!” and thought it was funny…
I do challenge women to think about this though, most of these women have had very public relationships. Meaning they may have dated less people than the average woman but it was magnified.
No parent wants their daughter to be labelled a hoe, instead they want to raise a beautiful, intelligent, and articulate young lady. But some (mostly women) would say these hoes are ruining it for everyone or should I say the men are who seem to be quick to pay for just about anything nowadays. I don’t know what the answer is but I do know alotta women like this are winning right now…
I just don’t believe you should pay for something that’s intended to be free, but there’s a cost associated with any relationship, including marriage.
Regardless of what is said about them though I think Jay Z said it best:
“Men lie, women lie, numbers don’t!”

Sometimes having money or being famous isnt always Winning. It can provide happiness but not necessarily joy. Happiness is temporary..but doesnt last. Money causes happiness…and we all know that doesnt last either. If these women were winning and truly had JOY….they wouldnt b trying to get their sex tapes off the market, or continue to try to convince everybody that they are different from ‘other’ video girls. Lisa Raye gets upset at photo shoots that focus on her ass…which is what got her where she is now…’Players Club’. The unwillingness to admit who they are and what they do shows that they may be winning financially, but their character and joy within their own skin isnt.
