Black Cinema Month | Diana Ross In “Mahogany”

October is Black Movie Month:

Mahogany, starring Diana Ross, Billy Dee Williams and Anthony Perkins.

This film brought “US” to the world of High Fashion – Ross designed several of the costumes in the film and Barry Gordy directed.  The movie came out in 1975 way before I was born, but I still enjoyed it.

A Black Cinema Classic from the Actors to the Soundtrack to the story!

Mahogany is about Tracy (Diana Ross) who is an aspiring fashion designer. Her dreams take her to Rome where she is then pushed into a whirlwind known as the fashion industry, leaving her humble abode in Chicago. “Success is nothing without someone you love to share it with” was the underlined meaning of the entire movie. All in all, it’s a must watch. If not for the actual storyline, then for the decadent fashion that Diana Ross dons.

To Watch The Movie  Go Here  To Download it. It’s safe.. I’ve checked it.  I looked for a youtube video or something streaming, but it was all BS signups and broken links that youtube had taken down…  Check Back Later. Maybe someone else will know a online stream.  Enjoy the movie..

Here is a sort of preview of it
